I, Kulgavyy Mihail Eugenevich, was born on it November, 18, 1983 in Izmail. Izmail is an old seaport. Situated in the mouth of the Danube, it has comfortable geographical position and from antiquity it has been known as a shopping center. It is rich in architectural monuments, saturated by heroic episodes, history.
My mother, Kulgavaya Anel Mihaylovna, is a mechanic of electro communication on speciality, being the student she met my father in Kagul, where he passed service.
Father, Kulgaviy Eugen Mihaylovich, a mining electrofitter on speciality, was in army for two years and soon after my birth, returned to the old work, and we all moved to Gorlovka.
The parents started to notice in me the appetence to everything new from my babyhood. I liked to draw, with pleasure learned verses, and generally wanted to study everything to look what it was and how it worked. Not surprising, that a designer was my favorite game, and I didn’t like other toys. Finding, the next time, in my closet the taken apart toy the parents were distressed terribly but what to do, curiosity was in my blood. When I grew up, and became a schoolboy, I learned to collect the toys back, and they even worked.
The first bell, new friends, lessons. In a word the sea of impressions. Probably, literature and fine art were my favorite lessons in junior classes. In childhood I drew a lot. In the fifth class I began to notice that exact sciences, such as physics and mathematics were easier for me than others. For me it was not difficult to decide difficult equation or tangled task. Somewhere at this time I took to programming. I studied independently BASIC and PASCAL, and, already studying in a college, mastered Delphi. Going to school, often participated in olympiads, in junior classes on Ukrainian literature and biology, in senior - physics, algebra, geometry. Time flew unnoticed and a final 9 class came.
Having finished school, I already firmly knew what I wanted, therefore, not long thinking, handed over documents in Gorlovska Machine-building College (GMC) and was included on speciality the «Maintenance of machine-tools with NC and RC». During years of study in GMC I acquired many friends, got mass of new knowledge which considerably extended my world view, developed technical thought and engineering shrewdness. It was easy for me to study, there were no special problems. My love to draw in childhood and my hobby - radio electronics, greatly helped me. Possessing the well developed spatial thought, I without superfluous questions could draw any draft, within the framework of course «drawing», or plan of a mechanism, on the «theory of machines and machineries». And good knowledge of the electrical engineering converted a college subject into a «pair for rest». In general, I was well-prepared to enter the university.
Finishing a college with a red diploma, I entered the third course of Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU) for speciality «metal-cutting machine-tools and systems». The first impressions were very good. Whole 11 educational buildings, spacious classrooms, crowds of students, high level of teaching and all in one Institute of higher education. I lived in a dormitory.
Among successes on a study I want to mark the first place in an olympiad on the «theory of cutting» and second place on the «details of machines», which I won. Getting the diploma of bachelor with an honour, I decided to do master’s degree course. Now, within the framework of master's degree work, I am solving the tasks put by my supervisor.
In a future, I am planning to improve greatly my English, I want to realize myself as an engineer, working on speciality.
