My name is Anna Anikeenko and I am Ukrainian.
I come from Donetsk, a regional centre of Ukraine. I was born on 3
September in the year of Ox according to Chinese Zodiac. Oxen are
stoical and patient, they can endure great hardship and never give up,
they are good friends and they get on well with most people. I hope so I am.
I am the only child in the family. My family is small;
I have only my Mum and Grandpa. My mum is a teacher at the European University.
She says she works for money. But her salary is so low, that I think she works
for self esteem.
When I was seven I went to school. I attended Eight-year school ¹29.
I did well at school. I was especially good at languages, but I also coped with the
rest of the subjects. At school I took up drawing. I attended the art studio.
From 1998 to 2002 I studied at Technical Lyceum. When at Lyceum
I fell into the habit of taking part in scientific work.
In 2002 I entered the Donetsk National Technical University,
the Electric Technical Faculty. I think the profession of an engineer
is very interesting and useful for people. In 2006 I obtained the degree of
bachelor in electrical engineering. Now I am studying to get a master degree. I have
some work experience.
I had a part-time job of technical Secretary Assistant of Entrance
Commission and Chair Laboratory assistant at the European University. I have skills
in using word processor, and other office equipment. I’m always very busy and I don’t
have much free time, but when I do, I like reading, skating and chatting with my friends
in ICQ. I have many friends. They are very good and we like to spend our time together.
We meet and talk, dance and laugh, listen to good music and do everything what
is interesting for us. I’m happy to have nice friends and a good family.
I hope that my dreams will come true and I’ll get a master degree
and get a good job.
