The problem of appearing of the sulfur dioxides in the products of combustion in the course of incineration of the coke oven gas, that causes corrosion and pollution of a working surface. The thermal conditions wewe elaborated with that aim.

The model of the boiler was constructed ДЕ-25-14 ГМ for optimization of the thermal conditions. The method of central composition orthogonal planning of the full factorial experiment was used. A mathematical description of the process was received, it allows to control the boiler's thermal work.

The results of ecological and heating engineering tests of the boiler ДЕ-25-14 ГМ are worked up and analized in the present article. The nitric oxides upon the incineration of coke oven gas were calculated. An optimal value air excess coefficient was recommended in order to lessen emission of harmful wastes.
