Biography

I was born on May 25th, 1985 in Donetsk. My parents Alina Karpunova and Yuriy Karpunov are construction engineers.

    Childhood

At the age of 2 to 5, as well as all ordinary children, I spent most of my time in the kindergarten playing interesting and entertaining games.

    School-days ...

It seems to me that there wasn't any child who wanted to go to school as much as I did. And at last, at the age of 7 I entered school #17 in Donetsk, which had an emphasis on physics and math. Our school always took an active part in the life of our district and city. It is impossible to enumerate all of the great number of activities which we were involved in. Due to our class supervisor, the life of our class was also vivid and full of different interesting events. A lot of entertaining events like school discos, celebrations, competitions, holidays, games and, certainly, school outings for a weekend and trips for vocations were carried out for us. Every time when I recollect my school days I want to say: "Schools days are wonderful!"

    Hobby

At the age of 4 I began to attend lessons of folk dances and after a while lessons of pop dances. I was involved in this hobby until the 9th form, and then I took up aerobics lessons. At the age of 8 I entered children's school of Art, where I studied for 5 years. When I was at the 9th form I was keen on medicine and even thought about entering medical university. Therefore I completed a course in a study group "Uniy Medik" ("Young Doctor") and have the diploma of a junior nurse. During studying in the study group I wrote a scientific work which took the III prize on the regional competition of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In 2005 I finished the courses of teachers-organizers and than worked as a teacher-organizer in children summer camps. I’m trying to conduct the healthy and active life-style, therefore I attend a gym and lessons of eastern dances.

    Choice of university and profession

Before the 11th form I seriously began to think about the choice of my future profession. As for the university – undoubtedly, my choice was DonNTU, but it was very hard for me to choose the branch, because I didn't want to gain a narrow specialization. So after careful consideration and hesitations I decided to choose the branch of economic cybernetics on the faculty of Computer Science. Since then I began intensive training for entrance examinations in mathematics and informatics. In 2002 I finished school and entered the Donetsk National Technical University. From the beginning of my study I liked my future profession very much because most of our subjects I considered not only useful and important but also interesting. In 2006 I got my bachelor's degree and decided to continue my education for a master's degree within the same branch.

    Self-development during students days

During my studies at the university I was trying to increase my level of English. From 2003 to 2006 year I attended English lessons in my university and as a result I got a diploma of the Institute of International Cooperation. In 2006 I finished an advanced English course in linguistic center "Logos" and then passed First Certificate in English exam (FCE).

    The theme of master's work

The theme of my master's work is "Advantages of ARIMA model for short-term forecasting of prices graphics of Forex".

    My future plans

My nearest future plans are development and successful defence of final of master's work and getting a master's degree. Certainly, I’m planning to continue study of foreign languages; because an awareness and ability to communicate in foreign languages is freedom: higher employment opportunity and freedom of communications. After graduating from university I want to find an interesting job by my specialization, to increase and apply in practice the knowledge acquired for 5 years of studying at university. I consider that the acquired knowledge and skills will become durable foundation for further development and self-perfection not rationed by bounds of my specialization.
