About myself:

I was born on the nineteenth of January 1986 in Donetsk city. My father – Voronoy Sergey Michaylovitch works as a lecturer in Donetsk institute of artificial intelligence. Me mother – Voronaya (Goncharova) Tamara Igorevna worked as a engineer in “Vtorcvetmet” science institute. I am the youngest child in family and have an elder sister Julia. I got acquainted with computer technologies in my early childhood, when I came to my mothers job and saw “Minsk-32” and “ES-1020” mainframes. That day I decided to become a programmer.

At the age of six I started studying in school number 145, thus I wasn’t welcomed there. They thought that a perfect age for starting studying is exactly seven. Luckily, I had managed to beat system that time. First year of studying was quite simple; at least, simple enough for my parents to decide making me pass straight into second year, but in early childhood I was too lazy to pass exams (I must say, this part of my character didn’t change too much). In my early years I enjoyed reading, especially encyclopedias. At the age of ten I started learning English. Also I had gone into many kinds of sports, but didn’t succeed much.

On the second year of studying, mom began working at home and she was given a PC – old IBM 286. That time I got first experience in MS-DOS and playing old computer games. Recently 286 was changed with 486, then with 386 and at last with my first “Pentium”. On the eights year of studying my family moved in a small city Shachtersk, witch is located not far from Donetsk. Their I started visiting school number 19, class witch specialized in learning mathematics. Learning there was more difficult, but also much more interesting. While studying in the 19-th school, I took part in region contest in Computing, but failed their. Also I was interested in mathematics, English and history.

My future profession wasn’t even a question, because I wanted to be a programmer since early childhood. The best technical education in Donetsk is given in the National Technical University (DonNTU), that’s why I decided to try entering. In the last year in school I went into special computing and mathematics courses, witch helped me during my exams. After such hard work school exams were a walk in the park for me and by the end of June 2002 I had already been a student, waiting for my classes to start.

And so the first of September 2002 was my first day as a student. First days were full of searches for classes, meeting other students and lectures. Studying in university was completely different from one in school. It was a little bit more difficult, and gave much more freedom. I must admit that since first day, studying was very interesting, thou there were some courses witch I found useless.

On my fourth year in university I started thinking about my future. It was a difficult choice – either graduate after five years as a programmer, or stay in university for one more semester to become a master in computer science. I preferred staying in walls of my “alma mater” for some more time, trying myself in science. Instructor of my master diploma work is Evgeniy Aleksandrovich Bashkov, witch suggested me topic, connected with computer graphics. I wasn’t very interested in computer graphics, but I found this topic rather interesting.

I don’t like talking and thinking about my future. Anyway, we'll see what happens, when it does.
