Short biography:
I was born in the distant 1985, rather on September, 1, 1985, when from point of simple inhabitant, there were not the glimmer of hint on disintegration of such a powerful superstate, how USSR was.
The place where I came into the world was the city northward Russia Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, 50.
What a marvelous land it is! Imagine the bank of the Pacific Ocean where the low hills of volcanic origin - sopki widely spread. Their slopes are thickly covered by the magnificent green presented by ferns, branchy cedars and thick firs. There are whole birch groves. And what wonderful reservoirs are there: clean water of lakes, through which one can see floating fish; rapid, cool small rivers and brooks; noisy waterfalls breaking away from steep cliffs. And in the distance one of local sights could be seen - the Avacha volcano.
My mother is Irene Tomilina, at that time she worked as a technologist, in the details galvanic treatment workshop at the submarine repair plant. At her time she finished Donetsk National University by speciality of microbiologist.
My father is Mikhail Tomilin, he worked in a brigade on maintenance of welding equipment. I think he is keen on development and soldering of electronic circuit until now. I remember, how much I was proud him, when he soldered the first computer - ZX-90. Must say that electronic devices have always attracted me.
Now parents are divorced.
I remember, my senior sister Ann took under my patronage in training for entrance to the first class. She taught me the alphabet, taught to count to one hundred, to determine time on hour-hand and minute-hand. I remember, what difficulties it involved for me, because in a fact the numbers on the clock were Roman! By the way this clock goes until now.
On September, 1 1992 I went to general school N1, where I learnt till the end of the first class.
In 1993 our family got back to Donetsk, because by that time USSR had disintegrated already, and all our relatives have lived exactly here. The first and third classes I finished excellent. Other – good. I remember, how in the 6th class I gained the lead in the Lenins district in competition of young readers. I read a humoresque the «The birch». On city competition I took, unfortunately, second place.
In 1998 I was suggested to enter Donetsk Technical Lyceum which was the DonNTU branch at that time. I agreed, because loved exact sciences.
It was hard in the beginning, because we studied there as in university: summer and winter sessions, vacations two times per a year, plus the deep study of physico-mathematical sciences. I had to work hard, to tighten up the school program and go out on a due level.
I would like to express the special gratitude to the teacher of mathematics - Ljubov Gridchina, because exactly thanks to its efforts I was able to pass successfully the entrance rating in DonNTU in 2002 and took 54 marks from 60 possible. I chose DonNTU as the logical continuation of DTL and generally, among all institutes of higher education I perceive only four the eldest: Donetsk national technical university, Donetsk national university, Donetsk medical university and Donetsk university of economy and enterprise.
The choice of my present speciality, «Scientific analytical and ecological devices and systems», was done quite by a chance. In the beginning I wanted to become a programmer, because considered, it is enough interesting occupation: to create something, program which would work actually from nothing, from a clean sheet. Agree - this is great! But after then it was suggested to me to enter the given speciality and explained, what I would do here. A bit on a reflection, I agreed that it is no less interestingly and it is perspective: to create measuring devices, on the base of ultramodern technologies. Especially because programming was included in this course.
The first impressions from study in University - it is not so difficult to study here. But it was so till the second course, till the term papers and projects didn’t come.
The special pleasure from training, I got during the study of discipline «physical metallurgy» on the second course, which was taught by Petrushak Svetlana. Heat treatment of metals was my favourite theme of this course. The theme of my master's degree work is concerned with metallurgy.
In addition, I got large pleasure from the implementation of course project on discipline «microprocessor systems», which was taught to us in a ninth semester by Vadim Kalashnikov and Dmitriy Kuznetsov. Thank you very match! Also I would like to thank Alexander Vovna, for giving me the intricate problems on defence of laboratory works.
Now I’m studying in magistracy in the NAP-06ì group. The way was hard: the first session was the most fearful, because fear – this is foremost, dread of unexplored. I would like to thank sincerely to all the teachers and especially my scientific advancer - Nina Chichicalo for teaching me to work, never to give up and not to stop on achieved.
I remember, how on the fourth course she offered me the theme that is now already my master's degree work: she asked me, would I like to go into this question, and added here that it would be hard to work. And on reflection well, I agreed because the difficult – is just at all above interestingly and recklessly. Generally my motto is the words from a song «Get up, overcome fear» «Aria» band:
The way is hard, but the purpose is wonderful, as the bonfire
A man, the time has come.
In addition, I would like to thank the remarkable, friendly family, grandmother and mother, who selflessly, wholly and fully devoted their lives to me and my sister Ann, and also Mironenko Ivan, former student of my group, who partly substituted a father for me. He educated the spirit of warrior in me, encouraged on a ring (I chose the visiting of box section as lessons of physical education and took part in two competitions, both from which, I lost unfortunately) and in the ordinary life he has given the lofty vital reference points.
With respect to a future, I would like:
- to work at the department of Electronic Technique and carry on scientific effort. I came to such decision from the following considering: if to work in some organization, the supply of knowledge, which I would have to use there would be far less then supply of knowledge, which I must use working at the department, and this, at least, is just offensive, the knowledge are given not easily;
- to patent a few devices;
- in course of time to get the graduate degree of doctor of engineering sciences;
- to build a house and once collect all former students of the NAP-02 group there;
- to plug airsoft in the list of subjects which would be taught on the department of physical training of university;
- to learn to dance flamenko.
