About myself
The average mark while studying at University is 4,67. I speak Russian and Ukrainian fluently and know English sufficiently to read and understand. While studying at the University I learned the following computer programs which are very necessary for an engineer: Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, Corel Draw, Microsoft World, Microsoft Exel, Microsoft Access, HTML. I am good at getting into the Internet and at working with computer in general.
Autobiography
I was born on August, 05, 1986 , in Donetsk , Ukraine , in the family of office workers.
My father is Anatoliy Ivanovitch Komyshan, 1966, an officer of militia.
My mother is Natalia Nikolaevna Komyshan, 1964, an accountant.
Childhood
My mother looked after me in the first years of my life. When I was three years old my parent divorced and therefore all the burdens of my bringing – up lay down on my mother’s shoulders. And she managed to find time to do everything - to work and bring me up. In spite of all these home problems I grew up to be a normal child and I wasn’t isolated from life. I learned to speak early, at the age of about 12 months and when I was about 18 months I learned the alphabet . But the real school of life for me became the street. I easily found common interests with local lads and my mother always had problems because of my different adventures.
When I was a small boy I went to different kindergartens. At the age of 7 I stated attending school No72, which is now a lyceum.
School years
I can divide my school life into two stages : ”unconscious” and ”conscious” periods. The first period began in 1993, when I went to the 1-st class and it lasted to the 9-th class when I understood that it was impossible any more to live so carelessly. I didn’t put any special efforts into my studying but in spite of it I always had good marks. I had some difficulties in studying languages, especially Russian. When I was in the 10-th form I set a goal to myself to have only excellent marks and I almost reached this goal with the exception of good mark in Russian. I liked and respected the teaching staff of my school and now I appreciate that they gave me good basic knowledge. At school I also began playing basketball and chess. I have the First category in chess . I regularly took part in chess competitions and very often won the first prizes.
University
In 2003 I passed successfully my final examinations at school and received the certificate about comprehensive secondary education. Then arose a question of further education and choosing speciality. As I was good at technical subjects I decided to enter Donetsk National Technical University, one of the oldest institutions of higher education in our region , which is famous for its high level of specialists training. It was difficult for me to choose the speciality, I couldn’t decide for a long time which one to choose. My friends advised me to choose the speciality “Mine and underground building” which could give me the possibility to work in different spheres. I liked this advice and chose this speciality on the Mining-geological faculty. I had an interview at the university and was admitted to it.
It was not easy for me to adapt to new life. I had to change completely my attitude to studying to show the persistence in acquiring of many difficult subjects. I continued playing basketball as a member of faculty basketball team, but I didn’t achieve high results.
Studying at the University I took part in international student conferences and seminars. On the whole, I have very bright and positive impressions about student life. After 4 yeas of studying I passed my state final exams and received the diploma of bachelor of Mining business. Now I am doing my Master’s degree course to get the diploma of the European standard. I want to continue the research work on the theme “Calculation procedure of the parameters of the advanced concrete lining while building of underground facilities.” My supervisor is Boris Artemovitch Lysikov, candidate of engineering sciences, Professor.
Plans for the future
My plans for future are to defend my Master’s degree work, continue my education , study English more profound, get better knowledge of graphic programs as Lyre, Skad, Compass, AutoCad. Of course, I want to find an interesting and well –paid job connected with different types of building.
