Разработан комплексный метод оценки воздействия тяжелых металлов на водную экосистему реки Кальмиус, основанный на изменении продуктивности биомассы, фотосинтеза и активности каталазы водорослей, с целью использования полученных результатов в экомониторинге.

В данной работе приводится информация о состоянии окружающей природной среды в Донецкой области. Перечислены права и обязанности инспектора, рассмотрены вопросы использования природных ресурсов, а также характеристика современного экологического состояния региона. Дана эколого-экономическая оценка ущерба от загрязнения биосферы и более подробно раскрыт вопрос об экологическом состоянии малых рек данной области.

Проект нацелен на: распространение информации о новейших научных результатах, сконцентрированных в узкоспециализированных публикациях, но имеющих прямое отношение к экологическим проблемам; создание информационной среды, обеспечивающей эффективную связь между производителями и потребителями научной информации по проблемам экологической геохимии, геоэкологии и смежным вопросам охраны окружающей среды; содействие решению физико-химических и геохимических проблем, сдерживающих разработку и внедрение новых экологически чистых и экономически эффективных технологий. На сайте приведены цели и задачи проекта, информация об участниках проекта, направлениях работы, ссылки на web-ресурсы по экологии, в том числе на учебные и учебно-методические разработки и сайты журналов по экологии.

Лаборатория экологической гидрогеологии УкрНИИЭП создана в 1971 г. для решения задач по экологии подземных и связанных с ними поверхностных вод в областях интенсивного антропогенного воздействия, и разработке способов инженерной защиты и реабилитации водоносных горизонтов. На сайте имеется перечень публикаций, которые могут оказаться полезными при изучении и прогнозировании состояния подземных вод в условиях антропогенного воздействия.

Сайт создан преподавателями и аспирантами кафедры природоохранной деятельности Донецкого национального технического университета. Книга посвящена работе с экологической информацией: получению, обработке и интерпретации, представлению и распространению. Адресована, в первую очередь, общественным экологическим организациям, но может быть полезна всем, кто занимается исследовательской работой.

Реализован проект "Русские зеленые страницы" - путеводитель по экологическим ресурсам, организациям, компаниям в рунете. Координируется и поддерживается Центром практической геоэкологии.

В ИМГРЭ планомерные геохимические исследования окружающей среды начались в 1976 г., а в 1980 г. в институте был организован отдел экологической геохимии. Первый опыт методических, опытно-производственных и экспериментальных исследований, доказавших высокую эффективность эколого-геохимических исследований, был выполнен для территории уникальной городской агломерации - города Москвы. Важным итогом этих работ было составление первой эколого-геохимической карты города.

Первое в России высшее учебное заведение экологического профиля. Университет был создан под эгидой ряда экологических организаций и предприятий, а также при содействии Министерства охраны окружающей среды РФ, Госкомитета по высшей школе России, при поддержке Комитета Верховного совета Российской Федерации по вопросам экологии и рационального использования природных ресурсов и Правительства Российской Федерации. Университет представляет собой учебное заведение, органично вписанное в систему высшего образования России.

Учебно-Научный Центр МГУ по переподготовке и повышению квалификации кадров в области экологии, рационального природопользования и охраны природы. Среди научных подразделений - отдел радиоэкологии.

Образована в 1989 г. с целью изучения техногенных изменений геологической среды Западного Урала и внедрения новых технологий борьбы с негативными процессами и явлениями.

Среди основных направлений исследований - геотехногенные структуры.

Основные направления деятельности: изучение, оценка и прогнозирование изменений геологической среды (экогеологического пространства) под воздействием природных и природно-техногенных процессов, разработка эколого-экономических принципов рационального природо- и недропользования.

Основными задачами являются: установление и изучение геохимических факторов, регулирующих формирование и развитие экологических и гидротермальных рудообразующих систем; прикладные исследования в области создания автоматизированных систем контроля и охраны окружающей среды и геохимических методов прогнозирования скрытого оруденения.
