Short biography:

My name is Struts Olga. I was born on February, 14th, 1987 in Krasny Liman of Donetsk area. My mother is Struts Alla, and she is on duty on crossing in Krasny Liman branch of "Ukrzaliznytsia". My father is Struts Nikolay, and he is the foreman of repair shop in Krasny Liman branch of "Ukrzaliznytsia".

The childhood

Strangely enough, but in my memory there is no memoirs connected with the early childhood. On memoirs of parents, I was the silent and obedient child. From 1990 to 1994 I visited a town kindergarten №50 "Topoliok".

School days

From 1994 to 2000 I studied in a secondary school #4 of Krasny Liman. I studied well though I can not allocate any favourite subject on that period of time. I also attended hobby groups of the fine arts, national dances and journalism, however any of these occupations did not become the main thing in my life.

In 2000 I was entered the 1st course of town technical liceum which has finished in 2004.There are was gathered capable children from all town and district at the liceum, and in my class many children were promising programmers, physicists and mathematicians, some of them sang, wrote verses or were professionally occupied with sports. The class was not only strong, but also amicable. Here I have got acquainted with some who by the right I can name as my best girlfriends.

At this time I already was defined, and gave special preference in studying to mathematics and the literature though someone can seem this combination strange. Also I took part in a combined team of liceum and a combined team of city on game "What? Where? When?", in town and regional Olympiads in various subjects, I have letters for the occupied first places on disciplines of "Mathematics" and "The Ukrainian". Also I wrote verses (I have even one publication) and small stories for liceum newspaper, and of the school compositions I am proud till now:). As a whole, study was given easily to me, as a result - ending 11 classes with a gold medal.

University

After the ending of secondary education, there was a question on the further training in high school. As my liceum had technical orientation and had the contract with Donetsk National Technical University, so I had no doubts in a choice of high school. I can not answer what was affected on my choice of a speciality, however, after successful passing rating tests, I was entered DonNTU at the electrotechnical faculty with major in "Electric Power Stations" on the budgetary form of studying.

Five next years I lived at student hostel # of DonNTU. First semesters of study at university were difficult as it was hard to live far from the home and to get used to the new conditions, new people, that was very hard for me. It meant bigger freedom, however the bigger responsibility.

During the next 5 years I have got a raised grand, and on IV course I received the grant of the Academic council of faculty. In my opinion, the greatest profit was from studying disciplines "Theoretical bases electrical engineers", "Mathematical problems in electric powers", "Electric machines", "Electric power stations", "Relay protection". Among the achievements I can note the fifth place on students Olympiad of electric machines. Also I considered my knowledge of foreign languages as unsatisfactory, so from II to IV course I was enrolled in the profound studying of English language in experimental group at English language faculty of DonNTU.

After the ending of IV course I entered the Master’s Program. The supervisor of my masters works became holder of the chair of my speciality Sivokobylenko Vitaly Fedorovich. My theme is actual and represents a wide field for researches as it is connected with a developing branch of electric power industry - mathematical modelling.

Plans for the future

В In connection with the common instability, my plans for the future are not defined yet, however it would be desirable to find after ending of university worthy work (including with the worthy salary and with a possibility of the further growth) in that sphere which will be interesting to me and where I shall find the best application of the received knowledge and skills.[Up]
