Biography

Childhood and School Years

I am Artem Dvornik, born on May 14, 2000. I lived and grew up in the city of Ugledar, Donetsk region.

I found studying easy, so I didn't spend a lot of time on it. In primary school, I was an excellent student, but in middle school, I slipped to being a good student in some subjects. I had many favorite subjects in the school curriculum, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, and crafts. My school life was very eventful; I participated in a large number of olympiads and competitions, often winning prizes. For my high academic achievements, I even received a scholarship while still a school student.

From an early age, I had a fascination with assembling and disassembling various structures, and sometimes household appliances were not spared. My parents wisely redirected me towards LEGO and other construction sets. However, I was still drawn to other toys. I had a particular affinity for electric and/or complex mechanical toys. After gathering a sufficient number of electric motors, wires, buttons, and various odds and ends, I embarked on creating my own inventions. Soldering was out of the question at that time, so I simply connected all the components using tape, glue, and so on. I managed to build only boats from all of this; I saw no point in assembling cars since those were the ones I disassembled for parts. My dream was to construct an airplane or something that could fly, but the best I could achieve was a makeshift hot air balloon with a candle. It was impossible to control, though.

I spent a lot of time outdoors with friends. Additionally, I attended various clubs and activities, with my hobbies changing over time. Among them were chess, dancing, football, gym workouts, boxing, and karate. I particularly enjoyed boxing, which is why I spent the most time in this section.

Professional Development

With the advent of the computer, I developed a love for computer games, but since few people knew how to install them at that time, I had to figure it out myself. If something didn't work or broke, there was no one to turn to. This forced me to delve seriously into the subject and opened my eyes to the potential of the computer. At an early age, I enjoyed assembling and disassembling various constructions, and often household appliances were involved. My parents wisely redirected my interest to Lego. In my senior years, I became fascinated with Android smartphones, their hardware, and firmware.

From childhood, I wanted to become a scientist, although I had a limited understanding of what their work actually entailed at that time. What attracted me was the fundamental principles of creation and exploration. As I grew older, I began to have a clearer sense of my desires and a more realistic assessment of the prospects ahead.

I began learning programming back in school. I attended additional programming classes where I studied Pascal and Delphi. I also spent my free time exploring computer science topics outside of school. I was particularly drawn to subjects related to hardware and security. Of course, I dabbled in creating simple websites, basic viruses, and even computer games. During that time, I was still quite far from being proficient in programming. À

After finishing school, I was certain that I wanted to become a programmer. I chose DonNTU, a university known for its high-quality education in the technical field.

My university education was fascinating. From the first courses, I immersed myself in programming, and my passion for it grew immensely. I spent most of my free time on self-education, which allowed me to start working and earning decent money at a very early stage. During my studies, I participated in competitions, wrote articles, and made many interesting acquaintances. It's worth mentioning that DonNTU has a strong teaching staff, and every teacher is responsive to questions, helps those who struggle with their studies, and treats their students with genuine care and respect.

As I mentioned earlier, I started freelancing during my first year of university. I searched for and took on various projects, trying my hand in different fields. Through these experiments, I identified my preferred specialization and focused my efforts on it.
