Your appointed place is always the place of resistance in life

Some are born rich, while others struggle with determination to become rich. While few are born with silver spoon, many are born with colorless spoon. While few inherit wealth, others with perseverance end up being first generation millionaires. It will surprise you to know that it is few among the few who are born rich with silver spoon inherit wealth that actually end up doing well. Many in that category lavish their inheritance because they do not know the process that brought about the wealth. But the good news is that stories abound about individuals who with little or nothing add value to the society and in the process create stupendous wealth. 

Success is not all about money and material things, but about achieving your purpose. “A man who sees life solely in terms of material matrix is a deformed soul.” And it is not riches that make a man blessed rather its blessing which man rich. The blessing of the lord maketh rich and added no sorrow with it. Not all rich people are blessed but all blessed men are rich in life. Thus the blessing of Abraham 6,000 years after is still speaking. As a young graduate of Nigerian University with great passion to impact this world with an indelible landmark on the face of the earth, I strongly belief on what God can do through me to this generation. With great believe to dare the impossibilities of life is a great determination and there the treasures of life are embedded. 

The passion burning within me since my birth is what made me think abstractly cosistently in the course of my journey in this world I saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

In the course of my journey in this world for over 2 decade I have learnt enormous attributes of greatness, which is what the successful one’s on earth do: how do they do it? What is it they know that others know not? In my study of the life and times of great achievers, I discovered that it’s the little things they do that single them out. The other is their simplicity. Some of these individuals are those likely not to see the who is who publications. They are there but you won’t know they are there. They do things in the unusual way. Time is their greatest resource. While others sleep, they keep up, discovering new frontiers. They are the world class entrepreneurs. 

In my journey so far, I have observed what the successful ones do to attain real success, I can remember vividly about half a decade ago when I was interviewed as a young engineer who just finished from the university – B.Tech. Electronic and Electrical Engineering, the question directed to me were as follows: Where would you be and what will you be doing in half a decade of your life to come, the answer was bright and sharp in my memory till date. I responded saying that. I will be the major key player in our global economy, politics and I envision myself to become a great minister in the eyes of God. God will put all the priorities before me if I continue to do his will and seek His face. With my walk with God I hope to save souls along the way, so someone else can enjoy his goodness as well. My goal is to finish the race, stay obedient to every command to enter the kingdom of God.

I have come to understand that I do not need much to impact the world but the very little in my hand, which is the multiplier effect secret, with a crystal clear example of 5 fishes and 5 loaves that fed over 5,000 men. It is often said that little drops of water make a mighty ocean. Such is the case where little acts of change reflect massively on a big picture. This is one which I have learnt personally and I have made up my mind to influence the society in order to improve the well being (food, energy and shelter) of the world.

In my journey so far, “a person that is not straight forward in life will always end up in shame.” I have learnt honesty as a mode of life policy to sail through the journey of life because each lie brings you to another level of lie, which each time there is a discussion related to such, so you keep building higher heights of lies that will collapse in a twinkle of an eye, when the truth is revealed. It is therefore best to stay in truth and let the world know you as a realist, always faithful in his ways. It is an important lesson of life for everyone to learn that honesty is the best policy to keep the journey of life smooth.

I also learnt that to every buildings in life, the foundation determines what kind of building is going to be constructed, it is obvious that a foundation designed for a bungalow house plan cannot be changed after an increase in annual net income, and then change it to duplex or 2 story building plan designs. Because, the foundation was initially designed for a bungalow and cannot be changed suddenly to a duplex because every foundational design has its own basic requirements before construction is commenced, for which time would be required to dig deep down and lay the foundation before constructing upward and forward till roofing stage and final completion. So also it is applicable to every man that is living and that will ever live upon the face of the earth, every man has different timing, calling and designed purpose to function with on earth as the divine plan and purpose for his creation. It is very important to know that He (GOD) that has created you knows you and calls you by your name before you are formed, and he has promised our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He keeps covenant and he fulfills whatever he speaks and says that which intends to fulfill. So at every instance in life everyman has a timing for stages and phases in life to face a certain challenge (dark hour) in life and the truth is that your creator will never subject you to what you cannot overcome but rather makes you stronger and bold in life. And one more thing I learnt is that every challenge is to take you higher in life because to get promoted to the next level in class you will need to be subjected to an exam in life which is the determinant factor to the next level in life. In the journey of life I see challenges as opportunities to overcome and have a new change of story to tell the world that though I was there but I overcame the test because conditions are limited to test of knowledge and not test of time, it only take knowledge to know that we are more than the conquerors in this world and we are a winner as wining becomes our identity. 

I am privileged to know that you cannot do it alone without the help of God that except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman wake but in vain. I have observed He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. Gideon’s army started with 32,000. Eventually God pruned them down to 300. WHY? The battle is not for the strong, the race is not for the swift, and by strength shall no man prevail. If they say, “Get on your mark and go,” and you jump forward and begin to run, it does not mean that you will win. Moses was 40 years old when he tried to help God by using physical strength to kill an Egyptian. He learnt the lesson in a hard way that he could not do anything in his power. He had to go to a training school for 40 years. During which he learnt that by strength should no man prevail. When the same Moses came back with the rod of God in his hand, there was nothing in that rod. God just wanted to use it to disgrace the enemy; he took over the whole land of Egypt from Pharaoh. I learnt success is not measured by ones level of achievement but the level of obstacles overcame whilst attaining success. It is crystal clear that the journey of life is ups and downs, which requires the help of the maker to go through each day of life, because fact is that where you are today does not determined your altitude in life, if you will be ready for a change. And to fall in life is not a taboo but to remain in the state of failure is what the taboo. Many great people that are celebrated in life today have one in time or the other failed but the vision they have towards life is what keeps them going despite the hardship of life. “Success is connected with action, and successful people keep up the pace. Though they make mistakes, they never give up” because, “Effort is rewarded on persistency”. It requires a great determination to pursue and recover all with achievement crown. As a first year student in the university I learnt that success is not determined by one’s level of achievement but the obstacles overcame whilst in the journey. What really defines success in life is the ability to persist with consistency upon the terrain of challenges in life at any stage because it might be the last stage to encounter the challenges at the red sea and not knowing that this challenges shall be things of the past at that moment but many saw the red sea from afar off and quit before the crown reward.

A man with a vision is ten times greater than a nation, one who sees with an inner eye has no limitation in life, also a man with a vision is an hardworking machine, a creature without a soul whose dream always keep him alive and never to see the challenging parts of life as important because of the vision is so real to the extent that its touchable to be felt. One with vision does not belief in impossibilities of life but always think on how to improvise a solution to the challenges of life. A man with a vision never sees a vanishing point in life because to every view that seems to be an end there is a bend at the tunnel to continue which automatically signifies there is no end with vision. A man with a vision will always be bold and steadfast in his actions of life and a man without a vision tends to deviate from time to time in life. Life is too short to not have a vision because life begins with a vision. Vision for today, tomorrow and for the life after death is is the fuel of life to keep on the track in life. And primarily we should note that our attitude to life is what determines our altitude, the vision you have will always keep you ahead all obstacles in life. This implies that, vision is a renewable energy that can never be destroyed but recreated at any stage of life. There is no closed door because at every closed door there is an opportunity to a new open door of greater heights, see every close door as a promotion to greater heights in life. Rejoice in the Lord always and I say rejoice in all circumstances of life for they all work for your good and I mean for your own good alone if only you keep onto the vision. I have learnt that substance of value is never free in life, and what you do with what you know matters a lot. So I receive the grace to be a doer of the word and not just a hearer and learn to stop deceiving myself. Indecisiveness in life is a great challenge that can ruin one’s life without any trace as to where one is coming nor going.
Being decisive is essential for a successful life. If you deny yourself commitment, what will you do with your life? Every accomplishment, great or small, starts with a decision. Remember: it is not what you haven’t; but what you do with what you do with that which you have been given, that makes a great difference. Many people eagerly begin the good fight of faith but forget to add patience, persistence, and endurance to their enthusiasm. And discipline is the basic ingredient in the journey of life which everyone must take note of. And to as much as possible be disciplined in all levels because if you are not disciplined you collapse a decade of effort just in a second of a minute because of undisciplined life - impatience.

Life, a matter of choice, and not chance, determines destiny. You can’t get a hit with the bat on your shoulder. Nothing great was ever done without an act of decision. Too many people go through life not knowing what they want but feeling sure they don’t have it. People are often like wheelbarrows, trailers, or canoes: they need to be pushed, pulled, or paddled. You are either moving other people to decisions or they are moving you to their own decision. Decide to do something now to make your life better. The choice is yours. Maurice Witzer said, “you seldom get what you go after unless you know in advance what you want form it.” 
If you have the will to win, you have achieved half success; if you don’t, you have achieved half of your failure. – David Ambrose.

Never get to the middle of the road before you take your decision, because the middle of the road is the worst place to try to take decision. As James High-tower quipped, “There is nothing in the middle of the road but yellow stripes and dead armadillos.” You can do everything you ought to do once you make decision. Friend, decide which way to observe, for life is too short not to have a plan management. And never leave a decision for tomorrow that needs to be made today.
Inertial is the tendency of a body to maintain its state of rest or uniform motion unless a body acted upon it by an external force. I know this is a big definition for a simple concept of what can keep the journey wheel smoothly.

Long and short of what this means is, if you slow down in the past five years, and for this reason, you are where you are at the moment. It becomes more difficult for you to get going in the journey of the next five years and a simple way to check if this is real to you or not is to ask yourself the following questions:

Just in case inertial has taken over, this phrase you are about to read will serve as a good external force to hopefully jolt you back into motion.

Do Not Worry
Therefore, I tell you do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and body more important than clothes?

Look as the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in his entire splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, o ye of little faith.

Deep inside your lives are thoughts of the impossibilities. A dream longing to come true. The good news is that God wants to do more than we can imagine. He longs to take our impossibilities and turn them into possibilities. Truly in life some mistakes make a situation impossible, God can turn it around. When you see a successful person, I guarantee you that he or she took several risks and made courageous decisions. Success favors the bold. Lucy Montgomery said, “It only seems as if you are doing something when you are worrying.” Worry doesn’t help tomorrow’s troubles, but it does ruin today’s happiness. When you worry about the future, there will soon be no future for you to worry about. No matter how much a person dreads the future, he normally wants to be around to see it. Unfortunately, more people worry about the future than preparing for it. Never be trouble unless trouble troubles you.
So do not worry, saying what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or what shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things and your heavenly father knows that you need them.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you as well. Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow  for tomorrow will worry for itself? Friends why do we chase the wind in life that we can never come in contact with in life, and all we need is to think and be creative to make our world a better place to live. For only those that can think will rule the world there idea.

In the course of my journey in life, I encountered several thoughts – What do you see? What a man see matters a lot in his life. What you see determines what you say. And what you say is determined by what you see. Think a world based class thought and not mere thinking because as a man thinketh in his heart so is he. 

 The future
The future I do not actively create will surprise me. My future must happen in a grand style. It is either I make it happen or I watch it happen. Nothing is at a standstill. Change happens so fast that it appears constant. As long as I am breathing, my future is in my hand to face it squarely for a glorious and enviable tomorrow.
Your best friends are those who bring out the best in you. When you tell me your friend, I will surely tell you who you are. “A mirror reflects a man’s face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friend he chooses.” The future can be determined with the company of friends that a man chooses in life. Because friends have great impact on you and the more you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. I have found that it is better to be alone than in the wrong company. A single conversation with the right person can be more valuable than years of study. If you are too conscious about the past, you will soon be heading towards the past direction. Mike Murdoch said, “Stop looking at where you have been and start looking at where you can be.” Your destiny in life is designed to always be upward and forward, never backward and downward.
Philip Raskin said, “The man who wastes today lamenting on yesterday will waste tomorrow lamenting of today.” The past will always be the way it was, stop trying to change it. Your future contains more happiness than any past you can remember. Friend believe in you that the best is yet to come.

The best that can happen to any man is to have hope about and keep working in the dream of the future to be realizable because it is very obvious that the good old days were never that good because the good new days are today and better days are coming tomorrow. On excuses
I do not have an excuse. Excuses are the explanations of failure but the truth is even if the excuses are not there, the future would still have occurred. The explanations of success are called keys. Nobody is impressed with excuses. People will only pay to know how it was done. There is no excuse to life examination, have you ever failed or made a mistake? Good, the fact that you have failed is proof that you are not finished. Failures and mistakes can create a bridge, not a barricade, to success. Failure may look like a fact, but it’s only an opinion. Successful people believe that mistakes are just feedback. It’s not how far you fall but how high you bounce that makes all the difference.

You are never a failure until you begin to blame somebody else for your failure in life. You will find that when you become good at making excuses you won’t be good at anything else. Excuses are the tools a person with no purpose or vision uses to build great monuments of emptiness. You can learn from your mistakes if you don’t waste your times denying and defending them. One of the biggest of alibis is regret. Don’t leave any regrets on the field-give your all in the game of life. “The most valuable thing I have learned from life is to regret anything.” Eliminate your regrets, for the truth is that a thousand regrets do not pay one debt. When a winner makes mistake, he says, “It wasn’t my fault.” Do you admit, “I was wrong,” or do you say, “It wasn’t my fault?” A winner explains; a loser explains away. Idle people lack no excuses. The word “I can’t” usually means ”I won’t try”. Can’t is the worst excuse and the foremost enemy of success.  “You don’t drown by falling in the water, you drown by staying there” – Ed Cole.

Failure can become a weight, or it can give you wings. The only way to make a comeback is to go on. If the truth were known, 99 percent of success is built on former. A mistake usually proves somebody stopped talking long enough to do something. Remember the old poem:

Being successful
Be more loyal to your future than to your past. What I have is what I have accepted. To know the road ahead ask those coming back from the journey you are about to embark on. I have encountered GOD’s favor in the journey so far, which is the landmark to my life because God’s favor forbids dryness; it makes an end to lack and want. When you encounter genuine favor no obstacle can stop you, you don’t have to negotiate your liberty, and it becomes automatic. That genuine stewardship provokes the release of divine favor. The truth is that – There is always room at the top for anyone who is willing to say, “I’ll serve,” and means it. Being a servant is not always the most natural thing to do. We are all conditioned to think about ourselves. That is one reason 97 percent of all people will write their own names when they are offered a new pen to try. Despite our tendency towards self – promotion, it is always true that more is accomplished when nobody cares who gets the credit.

Paths without obstacles don’t lead anywhere important. The way to the promise land requires navigating your way through the wilderness. A man with challenges is twice as alive as a man with no challenge. Refuse to let yourself become discouraged by temporary setbacks. If you are beginning to encounter some hard bumps, don’t worry. At least you are out of a rut. People who boast of being self-made usually have a few parts missing. You can recognize a self-made man; his head is oversized, and he has arms long enough to pat him on the back. A conceited person never gets anywhere because he thinks he is already there. Change your favorite word from “I” to “You”. Success comes to the man who does today and what others were thinking of doing tomorrow. The lazier a man is, the more he is likely to do the next day. In the history of success “someday” is not a day of week. Doing nothing is the most tiresome job in the world. When you won’t start, your difficulties won’t stop. Tackle any difficulty now – the longer you wait the bigger it grows. Procrastinators never have small problems because they always wait until their problems grow up.

Occasionally you may see someone who doesn’t do anything though appearing to be successful in life. Don’t be deceived. Remember the old sayings: “Even a broken clock is right twice a day”. Most people sit around waiting for their ship to come in often find hardship. Those things that come to a man who wait seldom turn out to be things he’s waited for. The hardest work in the world is that which should have been done yesterday. Hard work is usually an accumulation of easy things that should have been done last week.

In the journey of life you are all alone to face it squarely, so preparation for the journey is important

My encounter with the King of Glory turns everything around, which made me to know that there is nothing glorious in sin and I had a touch from Him by bringing a change to my life. God is God of principle, and the principle cannot be broken and the scriptures cannot be broken. As I returned God reverted the verdict in my favor. The blessings of the restoration are real, but the conditions must be met. When you are down to nothing God is always quick to be up to something great. Which when you think you cannot go further again yes that is when you have to switch to the auxiliary drive.

In his favor is light, and in his favour is life. A business can be defined as an act of exchange of values for the mutual benefit of the parties involved. Business is all about of exchange of values; money is nothing but a medium of exchange for goods and services. Everybody carries a divine endowment with which he can render services or produce goods. Everyone has an innate endowment that qualifies them for great business enterprise. None of the secrets of success will work unless you do. You are made for action. Success simply takes good ideas and puts them to work. What the free enterprise system really means is that the more enterprising you are, the less occupied you are. What we all need is less emphasis on freedom and more on enterprise.

Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest what you haven’t planted. - David Bly. More precisely, words for “work” appear 564 times in the Bible; therefore, work is a scriptural concept. When faith and work operate together, the result is a masterpiece. We should choose to keep our faith working all the time.

Thanksgiving establish your place in destiny, it also commit God to an active divine visitation. When thanksgiving becomes an attitude then your altitude in life is guaranteed. Thanksgiving is the appreciation for everything. And a mode of telling your creator to do more because appreciation in life can make man to do anything and how much more when we appreciate our maker we are directly and indirectly telling him that he can count on us if he does more. Because, God needs to trust you before he can commit much in your hand. Do not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs and do not forget to thank Him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful for the human mind can understand. Praise and thanksgiving is the divine energizer that makes life meaningful.

In my journey so far, I have come to a junction in my life that before I take a measure, there has to be consultation. And until he says go, before I take any move on the decision, because he sponsors no flops in life. And you must be ready for a change if you want to be ahead of your colleagues and you must be ready to pay the price of the sacrifice. Then set goals “it is until God is all you have, that you will never know what you need in life. Life is a question that every living soul must answer as an individual; If you don’t have an answer, circumstance of life will give an alternative answer to you and it will surely not favor you in any way. Life is not a citizen of any nations of the world and does not give out what every man deserve but what every man desire and determine to have in life on demand. Historically events do not foretell the future, it only impactsit. My background should not keep my back on ground. Everything I desire in life requires discovery, dreaming, determination and doggedness. Finally, life is an echo it gives back everything you say or do. Life will give you back everything you have ever given to it. Always remember that your life is a reflection of your actions.

I have encountered something that is unique in me which is divine wisdom, a divine heritage in me. Every destiny is at the mercy of wisdom. Wisdom is the master key to destiny and answers to all questions of life. Divine wisdom is the greatest asset a man can have in life. Wisdom creates solution in the midst of circumstance of life. Wisdom is the custodian of success, which is always there. With divine wisdom in action failure becomes a thing of the past in your life history.

The major root of all evil life is a life without the fear of God. Poverty is a communicable disease that can lead any man to do evil. Poverty can make man not to be trust worthy. Also, poverty can make man not to be straight forward in life. For a foundation laid on false tells, will definitely be completed with lies l surely collapse someday. A person that is not straight forward will always end up with shame in life.

Your appointed place is the place of resistant; you cannot be at the centre and still be at a loss. Activity is not substitute to connectivity. You are a particular tree ordained to flourish in a particular place. I identified wholesomely the appointed place; you need a discovery of your appointed place because there is a place appointed unto every man where every other place becomes a disappointment. I understood that I don’t have a spare life, why wasting the only life I have, get to the source and identify where you belong in life. An elephant does not struggle to get big because the gene is designed to be big. So I know I am created for greatness in life. And for every appointed place there must me an appointed power to back it up.

I learnt to always dial code 911 and not when I am in distress alone but a constant communication. Dialing 911 is heavens number to connect to the grand commander of the universe. Dialing 911 provides power, poise, peace, and purpose for a person’s purpose, plans, and pursuits. The most powerful energy anyone can generate is prayer energy. The devil smiles when we make plans. He laughs when we get too busy. But he trembles when we pray. – CORRIE TEN BOOM.
Prayer may not change all things for you, but for real it sure changes you for all things. Prayer is the stop that keeps you going. Please get to the exchange room from time to time to dial 911 for all that concerns your life. Prayer is the key to all walks of life success that has no limitation.

The golden lesson of my journey so far is “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” I need to say everything that man desire to have in life – beautiful wife, good sets of twins; Mansion built by the beach, jets as a mode of transport, Emperor of empires, Captain of Industries, and many lots more that man chase in the wind of life are the benefits of those that seek the kingdom of GOD.

Another lesson to learn is the importance of self education. Remember, there are two types of education, first the one they give to you and, then, secondly and more importantly the one you give yourself. These are the basic primary lesson that every reader that exist on this planet earth must learn and keep as a mode of guiding principles of life to keep them on the track and to never see life as a competition.

Be humble and never forget where you are coming from. Be prayerful. All that you are or will be is by His grace. Honor Him with a part of what he has given you. It could be your time, talent or any other thing. It must not be money. The key is now in your hands.
