Master's work theme: Automated designe of the Mealy FSM in FPGA with objects transformation

If you have got here casually — I warn, that this is the biography of one of the masters of our remarkable university (DonNTU)… Are you still here? Well, lets start then, but I have warned you.

As would expected there was nothing unusual in my birth, as well as many billions up to me I was born at male and female parents (daddy, mum — greetings!) in corresponding term (well, at least, I hope that it was so). And all these boring events have been taken place in Donetsk (for that moment in the USSR) at 17.04.1983. My life during this period was not saddened with any oustanding events, and all this good fortune have been lasted till 1.09.2000 (i.e. till the time, I was directed on the advanced line of struggle against a granite of a science).

Early school days were accompanied by periodic attempts to taught me something (should notice, that mostly successful, but not always). Since the early childhood the child (i.e. I) showed the certain propensities to the exact sciences, that at certain occasions was exploited by an educational institution. Should notice, that it did not bring special results (neither at early stages, nor on the subsequent), at presence of absence of motivation and additional preparations, I have got in 1st tenth (from time to time even in 1st the third), but without special enthusiasm. As well as other children early interested in chemistry and having access to chemist reactants (thanks to the grandmother). Chemic experiences in the early childhood have delivered to me, neighbors and school many pleasant instants…

In later years I have continued the acquaintance to chemistry and begin it (acquaintance naturally) with computers. As well as many starting programmers I began it from a product of a brain of B. Gates — (I apologize for the expression) the BASIC. But continuation was not so usual — I at once have passed on Assembler for 0õ86 series. Actually I used these two languages until the moment, when on the 1st course of the University we have learnt Pascal, but about this later.

So, we smoothly and imperceptibly came to a final part of my biography, namely — to Institute (from the Capital letter). Though I am only finishing it (what we are optimists), but I already confident, that this will be the most cheerful and unforgettable time of my life.

Concerning receipt anything interesting I can not tell, as well as the majority of students, I have accepted by ratings (what to other entrants I advise). At the first rate they began to taught us!!! Hoping though of these muttonheads to make students (the same story repeates every year, with random results). Actually my life in the university was enough usual — usual parties interrupted by lectures in the university and sessions (should notice, that the last are more pleasant (sessions naturally) as with the same efforts — result immeasurably greater). And so making the way through a stone ground of a science we have reached the ending (well, at least, a home straight). The given memoirs are the final job (naturally not considering the diploma and pre-diplomq practice) which your obedient servant carries out for the blessing of given educational institution.

For those, who have made the way through all above-stated and remained with us, I shall tell about master's work which I plan to finish by the winter of 2005. If this has not frightened you, we shall start.

So, a theme of mine master's work — "The Automated Design Of Mealy Final State Machine With Transformation Of Objects". The head of the given job is the professor of our university d. t. s. Barcalov A.A. Actually object of job is optimization of control unit of Mily using a technique named transformation of objects. The word "automation" in the name of the work, actually means volume of work exceeding above-stated as it will be necessary to develop the software carrying out synthesis of these devices for management in any CAD (well if to raise on a maximum the CAD itself to be developed, but it far leaves for frameworks of the given work).

The given work is not something revolutionary by itself, however, as far as I know, similar projects yet not exist, because the given devices have received active development rather recently - with development of technologies PLIS, FPGA and similar to them. All existing CAD (I not shure on 100 % of reliability of this information) are developed or under specific devices — for example microcontrollers; or are universal products that reduces their value at job with a specific target. So by the current moment this theme seems to me enough perspective, and the main thing — it has practical utilization.
