I am glad to see you on my page!

I was born on the 20th of August 1983 in the city of Makeyevka in Donetsk region. In spite of the fact that this event happened on a rainy day, my Mom Tkach Ljubov Mihaylovna and my Daddy Tkach Alexander Evgenjevich were very happy as I was the first child in the family. In three years my parents gave a birth to my sister Ekaterina. I became a support and a teacher for my sister. We are very friendly with her and can’t imagine living without one another.
Our parents worked a lot and me and my sister were looked after by our Granny Shura who is still living with us. I am very grateful to my Granny for the person I grew up for. In the age of three I began to attend a kindergarten ¹17. There I understood for the first time how interesting it is to communicate with children of my age. At preschool age I was interested in ball dances but I gave them up lately to my great regret. Now I recollect those years as the brightest period of my life.
In September 1990, being the seven years old, I became the pupil of the first form of the school ¹93 in Makeyevka. Then I opened a new world for myself – the world that was full of new and unknown. Difficulties of study which I didn’t know before haven’t overcome me. Due to my diligence and desire not to be worse than others I became the round honours pupil at once. My favourite subjects were mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. I always participated in school competitions in this or that subject. I also participated in regional competitions in mathematics, geography and in the Ukrainian language.
Having seen my successes in studies my parents expected that after finishing the school I will continue my education I some high educational establishment. They took a decision to transfer me to another school where teacher’s demands to pupils were higher and better preparation was given. Now I am very grateful to them for that decision. So in 1997 I passed entrance exams to the lyceum ¹1 with comprehensive school ¹61 in Makeyevka. There a profile division of classes existed. As I have never been good in humanitarian subjects I preferred to become a pupil of the class of a technical orientation. To study at the lyceum was much more difficult and I also had to adopt myself to the new conditions and environment. All my new classmates were the people who had the purpose in life – we all wanted to get high education in the future. All the teachers of the lyceum disposed us to the thought that we have to become the students of high educational establishments after finishing the school. I easily accepted my new class, all my classmates appeared to be very friendly and we all found the way with one another. The other fact I found to be very interesting was that I had the possibility to learn something about student's life being still the pupil of the lyceum. It was thanks to our lessons in Donbass State Academy of Building and Architecture (DSABA) which took place once a week during two years of my study at the lyceum. The teachers of the Academy read physics and mathematics to us. The matter is that it was supposed that our pupils will become the students of DSABA in the future. Another perspective for us was to enter Donetsk State Technical University, which now has the status of National University (DonNTU). The greater part of my classmates chose this very educational establishment and as I always wanted to study in Donetsk it was my choice too.
For a long time I couldn’t choose the faculty and the speciality I would like to study. I have never before seriously thought about my future occupation. Till now I don’t know what made me chose the mechanical faculty and the speciality “Technology of machine building”, probably it was a casual choice, destiny. Another reason that affected my decision was that it was possible to study on a budget form of training. I also had a thought to receive some second speciality but till now I haven’t realized this thought. In general in the end of my last year of study at the lyceum I made up my mind about the faculty I will study at and about the speciality. As well as the majority of my schoolmates I decided to become a student of the University by means of rating tests. I have successfully passed rating tests and was recommended for entrance the University. I passed my finals examinations at the lyceum with easy heart, knowing that my further destiny is determined.
In 2000 a new stage of my life has come. I finished the lyceum with a silver medal and became a student of DonNTU. Being a first-year student I still didn’t imagine what kind of speciality I chose and it worried me a little. But I liked to study at the University and to achieve good results in studies. I was sure that years of study at the University will be one of the best years of my life. Being a student already I also tried to study well and I was a success in this. A good stimulus for me to study well was the possibility to gain a grant. At the University I also participated in competitions in different subjects, such as resistance of materials and details of machines. I studied hard during semesters and when vacation came I made use of passes which were given by the trade-union committee of the University, and spent a great time in summer on the Azov sea in a sport camp “Stormy petrel” and in winter I had a rest in a camp “Red carnation” which is situated in a picturesque town of Svyatogorsk.
After finishing the forth rate of study I received the red diploma and got the bachelor's degree on a speciality “Engineering mechanic”. I received a proposition to continue my study at the magistracy and I have willingly accepted it. In the beginning of September, 2004 me and some other students of magistracy visited Sevastopol where annual international conference “Mechanical engineering and technological sphere of the XXI century” took place. This conference is organized by the faculty “Technology of machine building” I study at and we participated in the conference as members of organizing committee. It was very interesting to be there, to listen to the reports, to communicate with foreigners.
Now I am busy with collecting the materials for my master’s degree work the theme of which is “The research of the processing of both corrosion-proof and heat resisting steels and alloys by cutting”. This theme was offered to me by my supervisor of studies, the assistant professor of the faculty “Technology of machine building” Boguslavsky Vadim Alexandrovich. He has worked on the research of this question partially in his master's thesis. I am interested in working on this theme also. The processing of the materials which are known as hard processed appears to be a great problem and that’s why it is important to find new ways of processing of these very materials.
My nearest plans for the future are to finish the magistracy successfully and to get the diploma. I don’t know what is waiting for me in the future then. I would like to find a good job on my speciality and to use all the knowledge I got practically. May be I will decide to devote my life to science, to take a course of postgraduate study, to defend master's thesis and to teach at the University. The main thing for me is to like what I will do and to make profits to other people.
