Shortly about me

Average mark during the period of study at the university – 4,85. I speak Russian, Ukrainian and English fluently. I can also work with Microsoft Office, Visio, AutoCAD, Mathcad and modern search Internet systems. I consider that it is important to achieve everything by yourself and never regret about anything.

My Childhood

I was born on May 18, 1985 in Donetsk. The first couple of years I spent in Makeevka, so I wasn't pampered by my grandparents, but I received compensation when I moved back to Donetsk.

I was a restless and curious child. As any child I went to the day nursery and kindergarten. Unfortunately my recollections of the kindergarten are come to nothing more than my first love – Maxim and a costume of a snowflake at one of the New Year performances. There is one more recollection of this period – my calisthenics classes, where I always burst in to tears when my coach tried to teach me to make the splits. I wasn't able to do this, and my calisthenics classes were finished soon.

With all my confident I can say that my childhood wasn't boring as I have a younger sister Dasha who is a clever and interesting person. At present she is also an undergraduate at DonNTU on speciality ”Scientific, Analytical and Ecological Devices and Systems”.

My School Years

On September 1, 1992, well-dressed and with bows in my hair, I went to 1-B form of the school #22 in Donetsk. My first teacher was Natalya Kurdina, a very kind and careful person. At the elementary school I was too energetic, and this resulted in numerous complains concerning my behavior and even bad marks. To cope with my restlessness my parents took me to ballroom dances classes where I wasted 3 years of my life without any success. When I became the pupil of the 5 form my bad marks turned to good and excellent ones. I didn't have any favorite subjects but there was the one I hated – Geography. Since I left my ballroom dances classes and wanted to continue my sport trainings I chouse track and field athletics. After the 6 form I was moved up into the humanitarian class. When I was at the 8 form my parents advised me to go to the preparatory classes in Donetsk Technical College. Hard work at school and preparatory classes made me leave my sport trainings.

In summer 1999 I passed my entrance examinations to Donetsk Technical College successfully and became one of its students. I found that the process of studying and public life of the college was different from that of the school and had a lot of common with the life at the university. I had less time for holidays and I had to pass lots of tests and exams. I still have pleasant recollections of my classes of Russian language and literature held by Svetlana Siroizhko who played an important role in formation of the personality of many of her students. The years spent in college were interesting and unforgettable. I graduated with a certificate with honour.

I was also keen on astronomy which I chose as a theme for my individual task. This keenness resulted in diplomas on astronomy issued by Minor Academy of Science.

University

At the 11 form I had to choose which university to enter and what speciality to take. It was easy to decide upon the university, I chose DonNTU of course, but it was difficult to make a chose between the Faculty of Economy and the Faculty Computer Information Technologies and Automatics (CITA).

Finally I preferred the CITA Faculty and after a successful pass at ratings I became a student of one of the most prestigious universities – DonNTU. For that I would like to thanks my teacher of mathematics Sergey Gladkiy. Being a fresher I couldn't clearly imagine what I would learn and what job I would be able to have after graduation but when we started to learn subjects on speciality everything cleared up. It appeared to be an interesting speciality and the qualified and kind professors at Electronic Techniques department are always ready to help the students. I was also lucky with my group mates. From the very first day we had a friendly atmosphere in group and always helped each other. So, I can say, that I have never regretted for my choice. The first 2 years of studying at the university were rather easy for me due to my college teachers who tried to put as much knowledge as possible in my head. At the first courses I took active participation in public life of the university and owing to that I made many good friends and had unforgettable moments. The desire to study economy did not disappear and I decided to get the second higher education on a speciality "Economy of the Enterprise ".

At the fourth year when there was a question of a choice of a theme for my final work, I asked for help from the assistant of the faculty Electronic Techniques Vovna Alexander who suggested to take up the following theme: "Grounds for the Structure of Dust Measuring Channel in the Atmosphere of Coal Mines". After the fourth year I defended the baccalaureate work and received a degree with honour and then I decided to continue undergraduate education.

Plans for the Future

At present I continue my undergraduate study at DonNTU at the speciality "Scientific, Analytical and Ecological Devices and Systems." It is difficult to tell about my plans for the future, but in the nearest future I wish to finish my studying successfully and to defend my final work on the chosen theme as well as to find a job where I can realize myself. In the future I plan to create a good and strong family as well as any other person.

I would like to tender thanks to the university and those people who were beside me and helped me with a hard process of studying during all those 5 years: to my parents, professors, my sister and friends.:)
