Autosynopsis
"Research of the use of autonomous software agents in the multimedia systems"

1. Introduction. Actuality of problem

        Presently web-technologies are at ever-higher level. A web-space continues to broaden. To the user becomes all more difficult to execute some actions in the Internet. Becomes difficultly to find necessary information, or execute some actions. Deciding these and many other problems in the Internet is possible by autonomous agents. Agents are engaged in the information retrieval, mobile calculations, manage work of servers et cetera. The created agents are able to be taught, be adapted oneself to the environment, independently to make decisions. A lot of efforts for creation of prototype of agent are not required to the developer. The use of the multiagent systems is effective enough. Such systems are able to decide more intricate problems. The use of such systems on major concerns is especially effective. The concord of agents in a computer environment well executes processing of information. Consequently, the question of creation and use of programmatic agents is very actual now.

2. Purpose and tasks of work

        The purpose of this work is the analysis and research of software agents, their conduct in the system, basic functions, methods of their construction, structure. For achievement of this purpose agents as special type of the computer program are analysed in this work. The aims of agents are analysed, and coming them from their organization, algorithms of conduct, different ways of creation of agents.
On the basis of the conducted researches is brought the most popular and effective algorithms over and methods of realization of agents. And the detailed description of work of agents is similarly given.

3. Planned practical value

        At further development of agents it is possible to provide the large automation of work in the Internet. Agents are able to find necessary information for an user. An user is enough only to set information which interest him. The best from agents can be independently taught, imitating the example of user. Ability to «watch» after an execution executable by an user during the session of viewing sequence is stopped up in agents. They are able to accumulate information about interesting questions, bringing in proper corrections in the conduct. An agent working for an electronic library is able to collect information in the Internet from around the world. By agents it is possible fully to automatize work of any company. The use of agents in electronic commerce is especially advantageous. The use of agents is effective in everyday life of users. At the purchase of book an user sets to the agent the search at minimum price. An agent finds a book on a condition and executes the purchase. Consequently, agents are able considerably to facilitate everyday life of user of the Internet.

 4. A review of existing research and development on the topic

4.1. Local review

      Presently begins to be engaged in the problems of autonomous software agents all more of institutes of higher and scientists in the world. Our university is only at the beginning of this way. A question a little affected these the professor Barkalov. A few sections of his book are devoted exactly to the autonomous software agents. Terzy Igor, graduating student of our university, worked above a theme: «Analysis and development of mechanisms of co-ordination and collaboration for the agents-oriented systems».

4.2. National review

      In our country already there are some works on autonomous programmatic agents. It is engaged in the questions of programmatic agents in KHNURE, KHPY, Kiev NAU, DNGU. In these educational establishments such questions are explored as: case by the resources of informative space frame on the basis of programmatic agents, application of agents technologies in the systems of databases, model of the control system by informative resources on the basis of technology of programmatic agents, state and progress trends of agents technologies in the tasks of informative support, agents technology in the tasks of information retrieval and acceptance of decisions.

4.3. International review

      The question of intellectual programmatic agents is widely studied in the world. Special in Europe and America. Already enough a lot of works on this theme. Plenty of conferences passes. Not enough books on autonomous agents. Institutes of higher, which are engaged in autonomous agents: Saint Petersburg institute of informatics and automation of WOUNDS, University of Keele, Intelligent Software Agents is group of Institute of robototehnic, engaged in development of Intellectual Agents, Center for Models of Life is Institute of Nyl's coniferous Forest, MASLAB - Multiagent Systems Lab. at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Now the special value is represented by collections of researches and works, which is lighted up at international conferences.

5. Got and planned results

      As a result of already conducted researches the concept of autonomous agents, their basic properties and destiny were considered. Agents are used in mobile calculations and tasks of management by information. The simplest structure of autonomous agent and methods of its realization is considered:

The further analysis of autonomous agents is planned:
• consideration of methods of realization and programing of agents
• analysis of co-operation and conduct in an environment
• consideration of algorithms of conduct agents
• analysis of adaptation and reaction on events
• consideration of classification of agents and examples of their use in the systems
