Childhood

It was my good fortune to be born in Kiev where my mum, Victoria Ivanovna worked at a machine-building factory after the graduation in Donetsk polytechnical institute. In the age of two weeks and a little more I had my first travel in a life - flight from Kiev to Donetsk where my grandmother Eleonora Aleksandrovna, grandfather Ivan Ivanovich and great-grandmother Aza Fedorovna waited for me and mum. The conscious part of my life has begun there. Some time later father Nikolay Vasilevich has moved to Donetsk.

As my grandmother says, I had learned to run first and only then found my feet. Long enough corridor was an ideal place for runnings, the most important thing was to hold grandma's hand tightly. One of my childhood hobbies was modernization of the structured cable network of the apartment. I developed it with felt-tip pen directly on the walls. Switches and other devices were organized on the same principle. Probably it was the first outpouring of interest in the future specialty. Hardly later I began to embody my ideas banding appliances' electrical cords and other ropes together. Fortunately, special plastic socket covers were aquired. When I was 4, my brother Vitya and a year on my sister Lisa were born. Childhood had become much cheerful!

Insteed going to the kindergarden I attended children aesthetic education courses couple times a week. The included a lot of different sections, such as drawing, molding, dancing, etc.

School

I started to learn English here, it was one of the most interesting sections. I start school September 1st, 1993. All ten years of my education had passed within the walls of the 19th school in Donetsk. Now it is called specialist foreign language (especially German) lyceum. I studied quite well, nevertheless my behaviour leaved much to be desired. I was frequently ousted from the English lessons for my permanent chating and laughing with deesk neighbour and so diverting other from the lesson. Russian teacher, who was old-school pedagogue, liked to practice punishments in the form of placing delinquent person to the corner of the room or out-of-sequence room cleaning. I can't even remember why I served that sentences. :)

However, I should notice, that I had allways evinced seriouseness and attention in studying exact sciences. My favourite subjects were Physics and Chemistry. In the 8th form I'd even become a prizewinner of the regional chemistry contest and was awarded a trip to Artek. I also had reached significant successes in contests on the physics and computer science. Games called KVNs (russian abbreviation for Club of the Cheerfull and Quick-witted), where various physical laws both the chemical phenomena were made play, often took place at school and our command regulary took the first place. Almost seven years I have studied in a class with the English language profound studying. We even learned German for couple of years.

When I was in the 10th form mathematical class were organized in oour school. I'd immidiately signed up for it. At the algebra and geometry lessons we with the remarkable teacher Vera Nikanorovna solved more complicated challenges and tricky problems as pupils in other classes did, we had more physics, chemistry and biology lessons. All this had helped me to enter the university by the results of ratings in the beginning of April.

I've finished school in 2003 with a silver medal. After the prom everybody drifted apart by their own ways, the "adult" life has begun. I have not ever met some schoolmates since then. And it is a pity.

The choice of a place of the further study was not complex for me - long time ago I'd decided that I enter DonNTU. As my mother works here, and I often had to happen to visit her at work in the childhood, the university for a long time had become for me almost native. However it was more complex to choose a speciality. When enter CITA faculty graduates had to pass examinations besides in mathematics, in physics - a subject, which I thought, I knew better, than computer science on CT. And TCS speciality had seemed to be the most interesting and perspective, and sounds good!

Therefore approximately for a half of year before I have started additionaly study at the preliminary courses and that has allowed me to show quite good result on ratings.

University

One of the reasons why I do not regret about the choice of a speciality is that having chosen another, I probably had not met all those remarkable people with whom I'd study all those years and who had become my friends. Our group, TCS-03a, has been founded very amicable and tight-knit. Everyone was the personality, in one's own way interesting and individual, and at the same time together we made one cheerful collective. In one and a half month after acquaintance we had decided to go to the forest, to Brusin, for weekend. There we had even more made friends and have better learned each other. After that we had organized such trips to the open air and picnics in the Igor's garden again and again.

Though the most major of them, certainly, was backpacking in Crimea in the summer after the first course. Perhaps, for all except Lilya, rest with a knapsack and tent was for the first time. We had made the route by ourselves and had passed it (allmost all :) ) without the formal adult leader. Someone can tell, that it was thoughtlessly, silly and dangerously, but that emotions and freedom that you feel standing on top of the mountain and observing birds hovering against the sea somewhere below, behind the cliff, to not be compared to anything. Memoirs on this trip, probably, are one of the brightest for all time of srudy and will be kept for all life. Probably, memoirs on a campaign - one of the brightest for all time of study, it that remains for all life. After that summer trips to Crimea have become a heart-warming tradition, but that first time will not be forgotten ever, and Artem, Arthur, Dima, Lilya and Serega, will remain my friends for all life

Studing is much more interestingly and easier in amicable collective. First four years have flown by practically instantly. We have become bachelors before I could say. On the third course I and Lilya were suggested to participate a theatrical circle which has been organized at German Technical Faculty. Guys staged performances using their own hand written scripts, own music and original direction. It was extremely interesting and helped to abstract from educational problems. Though my theatrical debut took place in the third class (I played the Goat in "Cat's house") many things were as for the first time: theatrical workshops, texts in German, etc.

In the spring we was invited to the festival of German-speaking theatres to Hungary. Public loved our play that we performed using the sign language (the majority of us knew German at an elementary level then, and someone almost did not know:)) so much, that following festival had been decided to hold in Ukraine, and we had become its organizers.

Usually people say the higher course the easier study. I felt that little differ. In the first semester the difference with school, certainly, was felt, and everything was a little bit unusual. But especially for me the eighth semester was seemed to be the most intensive and difficult than other ones. Besides regular lessons I attended English and German courses, took part in rehearsals of the new play, helped to organize theater festival. As it has appeared, the organization of festivals is enough troublesome, taking away a lot of forces, time and nerves thing, but however it is exciting and stunningly interesting. I think, everything has turned out not badly, at least, we tried hard, and our guests were pleasured, and it is the main thing. If I am now suggested to participate in something similar, I would agree without any hesitation.

During the same time MTS company (then still UMC) has declared the contest among the student's commands studied in various high schools of Ukraine which theme was improvements of quality of mobile communication. All the spring long five person from my group (and me including:)) prepared the project for contest, and have successfully presented it in May in Kiev and, having won the first place, have won a trip on an exhibition of modern information and telecommunication technologies CeBIT-2008 in Hanover. I have been to the Western Europe for the first time, and it is possible to say, that this trip has changed my outlook. I have been amazed by how, thinking over all literally up to trifles, it is possible to improve the quality of human life, to reduce influence of civilization on the environment, to keep health of the nation, and how many things are on our, our generation's, plate to do in Ukraine to lead our country to the European level of evolution.

Thus, it is possible to say, that my study at the university definitely was not boring, but on the contrary full of various interesting and fascinating events. Probably, it is in troth the best years of life.

Among plans for the future, first of all, are writing of master's work and its successful presentation, searching of good and interesting work connected with speciality with an opportunity of own growth.
