ABSTRACT

URGENCY OF THE THEME

        The receipt of high-quality rolling requires the minimum loadings on the workings rollers. For this purpose on blooming the hydraulic counterbalancing device of overhead roller is utilized. It works noiselessly and without shoves, has small sizes and is easily guided during work of blooming. In the process of work the workings rollers and spindles devices are subjected to the dynamic loadings. Therefore at damages, violations of the modes of exploitation of hydraulic counterbalancing device the additional loadings appear. These additional forces can be removed: by timely technical service and repair of hydraulic counterbalancing device; by research and perfection of construction of hydraulic counterbalancing device and elements of main line of mill 950. Therefore this theme of master's degree work is important and subject to further research.

RESEARCH PURPOSE AND TASKS

        Purpose – decline of the dynamic loadings in the main line of mill 950, increase of longevity and faultness of equipment operation.

Tasks:

1. To execute theoretical research of counterbalancing device and define the parameters of the power dynamic affecting its elements.

2. To define the parameters of engine of spindle shaft.

3. To define efforts and moments rolling, operating on the workings rollers.

4. To develop the construction of supports of spindle shaft and define their places of location.

5. To develop recommendation on perfection of construction of counterbalancing device, providing the increase of reliability of equipment operation.

PLANNED PRACTICAL RESULT

        The developed construction of counterbalancing device and supports of spindle shaft with three pairs of rollers will provide possibility to diminish the displacement (origins of excentricity) in space of geometrical axis in relation to the axis of rotation of the spindle shaft. It will lead: to diminishing of wear of brass of universal spindles connections; to the decline of the shock loadings of spindle shaft at the rollers of supporting elements; to the decline of additional tensions all over the technological line and increase of reliability of equipment operation.

SCIENTIFIC NOVELTY

1. The method of calculation has been given, the construction of spindle shaft supports has been developed with three pair of rollers and the places of location of supports are specified.

2. The improved construction of counterbalancing device has been developed and the parameters of power dynamics affecting is elements are specified.

CONCLUSIONS

During implementation of master's degree work its purpose has been realized and the put tasks of research has been decided, such as:

– theoretical research of counterbalancing device has been executed;

– the construction of roller supports has been developed and the places of their location on the spindle shaft have been defined;

– moments and efforts of rolling, operating on working rollers have been defined;

– the parameters of engine of spindle shaft are given;

– ðàçðàáîòàíû ðåêîìåíäàöèè ïî ñîâåðøåíñòâîâàíèþ êîíñòðóêöèè óðàâíîâåøèâàþùåãî óñòðîéñòâà;

– recommendations on perfection of construction of counterbalancing device have been developed.

        The result of researches has been diminishing of deformations, wear and additional tensions all over the technological line.

        Thus, a technical result of implementation of this master's degree work is an increase of reliability and decline of the dynamic loadings of metallurgical equipment, included in the technological line of mill 950 blooming.

        Researches of this theme of master's degree work is being carried out presently. Its completion is therefore planned in December, 2008.
