Short biography

Preschool childhood

I, Nesterenko Dmitry Sergeyevich, was born on April 19, 1987 in the Donetsk city. My parents: father - Sergey Nesterenko, mother - Nesterenko (Tischenko) Natalia. First of all, I want to express my deep gratitude and respect to my parents, who were always near and made great efforts in my upbringing. First of all, they were able to give me views on life, point to the moral values and raise a decent person who has important personal qualities.

I often moved in my preschool childhood. But they are was limited by cities Donetsk and Makiyivka. I did not like to go to kindergarten. It was interesting and fun, but monotonous. The brightest impression was the educator’s story that Santa Claus doesn’t exist… The last year in the kindergarten I was waiting with huge impatience of time, when I will go to school at least. In school was so much of unknown, attracting by its mysteriousness.

Younger and senior school

In 1994 my dream came true – I went to the first grade. I remembered that year, because my brother Vadim was born. He helped me to become more responsible and attentive.

I studied in the school ¹57. This school is famous, because Sergey Nazarovich Bubka studied there. He is the outstanding sportsman-athlete on pole vaults, the champion of the Olympic Games who have established 35 world records.

I was interested by computer science in 6th grade. I have found that my school has a programming group. So I became one of its participants with grate pleasure. I remember the first task in it. It was calculation of a sine in a rectangular triangle. Unfortunately, I did not know that this group was made for schoolchilds not younger than 7th grade. It was necessary for me to understand the trigonometry bases. From this moment I started to learn the first programming language in my life – Visual Basic.

The next step of my education was admission to Donetsk College in 2001 (after the 8th grade). But it was not easy. I had to additionally study mathematics and informatics, Ukrainian and English Languages, study on weekends and go through the half of the city to college. That was not unnecessary. Through persistence and hard work, my dream came true.

Donetsk College was very differ, unlikeness to school. Classes were held by the best teachers, we had not lessons, there were pairs, we had student’s record-book… And the most important – there was a lot of people, like me, that had only one goal – to study.

All this was possible only because of one person – Georgy Arkadiyevich Shtein, who has founded Donetsk College and became its director. We still feel deep respect and gratitude to this person.

In College I finally defined with the further focus of my education. That’s why I put all of my efforts to study computer science.

University and plans for the future

I have chosen my future university without any doubts. It was supposed to be Donetsk National Technical University - the best technical university. Also I have quickly chosen the profession – “Software engineering”. The choice was made, and there was only the little thing to do – to enter the university. I had to make great efforts to reach this goal. Finally, everything finished (or just started) well – I was enrolled to the group PS-04v upon the results of the ratings.

Education in the university was completely different from the education at school. Here all required of self-reliance. At the first year it was necessary to get used, adapt to a new place of studing. Fortunately, I was lucky - wonderful people studied in my group! We began our long journey ahead, to the heights of knowledge.

I communicated with wonderful lecturers, heard a lot of interesting and exiting (and some boring) courses.

In parallel, learning in the university, I was trained at the military department, where we were trained by the best teachers. They have given us worthy military skills, brought up in us leader’s spirit and leadership. As result of training in military department became assignment to me rank of a younger-lieutenant of reserve.

I had no debts on study for all time of education, learnt and passed over all in time. Through this, I became a holder of Bachelor's degree with honour. I have improved my knowledge, comprehended a lot of new, and the main thing – confidently go forward to reach my goal. For this reason I have decided to study in the magistrature.

In the process of study, I met with the wonderful lecturer and person – Fedyaev Oleg Ivanovich. Due to the fact, that he led our lections for few years, I have understood that I see only Oleg Ivanovich as the supervisor of my science work. By mutual agreement with him, it has happened. The theme of master's work - «Automatic recognition of isolated words of Russian language based on Wavelet Analysis». In my opinion, it is enough unusual and interesting, besides, can be realized by huge amount of various methods.

The nearest plans for the future are profound study of English and study in professional photoshchool. The further plans – create own Internet business, create a photo-exhibition of works for demonstration of the achievements. I plan to learn play on acoustic, and then on an electric guitar.
