Autobiography

Childhood

My name is Zhoga Alexander and I was born on October 3 in Kuritsino village in Donetsk region. I am the only child in our family. And that is why my parents - father Zhoga Viktor and mother Zhoga Nadezhda- gave all their love and care to me alone. At the time when my parents were at work my grandmother took care of me. I remember I was not very keen on going to kindergarten as it was so much fun staying at home and playing outside with my many friends. This was a joyous childhood but as the Knowledge Day was coming closer I became to be treated more seriously. And so I started to master the study.

School

My carefree childhood was over when the pre-school training started. On September 1 of 1995 I went to the first class of the School #18. For the first time my father brought me to school. I can still remember going upstairs and thinking that I need to remember where my class was so that I could find it easily by myself. Very soon I got accustomed and the school life absorbed me entirely. There I got to know my friends with whom I still keep in touch.
Already in junior classes my cousins and I devised our own cipher for correspondence – a sort of the alphabet which we successfully used to communicate with each other. Taking a great interest in communication means I became interested in portable transmitters as at that time mobile phones were not widespread. This must have predefined my future choice of profession, however, at that time I was not thinking about it.
I attended karate and football sections up till the eights grade. At that time I was lucky to take a tennis racket for the first time. Since then I took up regular trainings with my friend after classes. A little later a tennis table appeared in our school so the school breaks passed very quickly for us.
In senior classes I took part in school and district Olympiads on various subjects as well as in district sports competitions.
In 2005 I graduated from High School with honors in mathematics, economics and physical training.
I am very grateful to all teachers who developed my aspiration to new knowledge and achievement of goals.
When a time came to decide on the Higher Educational Institution I was going to enter, I got confused as there were so many options to choose from. Each of my relatives advised me his own city – Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk and even Kharkov. But I was more inclined to Donetsk. And so it was decided. It remained only to choose speciality, which turned out to be not as easy as it seemed. For a start I decided to try me in an automobile sphere. Having succeeded in examinations and having got to know this speciality closer I realized that I have to take up another sphere. And I chose faculty of CITA in Donetsk NTU. Then I had to choose a speciality. At first I liked two specialities – ICST and TSN (at that time they were at the same faculty). And I applied for them, besides one of my classmates also decided to try his strength here. Having passed exams for both specialities I decided that ICST was not for me as it deals only with programming. So I fixed upon my current speciality as it seemed to be more interesting and promising.

Universuty

My first acquaintance with a students’ life began with a work off in a dormitory #2. Doing renovation with my new friends I didn’t even suspect that I would be living there as initially I planned to live at my relatives. But having learned closer a life here I decided to stay.
So the new academic year began. I can still remember my first period – Descriptive Geometry which took place in the third pavilion. Three groups were gathered there, the lecture hall was almost full. I got acquainted with my group at the next period. And I’m happy to have got to this group as there I found friends and like-minded people who share my opinion and support me in time of need.
At first students’ life was a little unusual to me but very soon things cleared up. Each examination session brought me precious knowledge and experience, which is a merit of teachers. In my memory also remained a practical work for “AMI” and “Data Express” companies, whose employees showed me what to strive for. And the experience I gained during that short period of time was of a great help in studying process.
I also can’t but say about my living in dormitory which was bright and remarkable. If it hasn’t been for the dorm my students’ life would be not quite complete. There was a time for study as well as for entertainment. Our free time me and my friend spent playing football, table tennis, basketball. In summer we used to have a good rest on the lake.
So the four years of study passed by unnoticed. After obtaining my bachelors degree and entering the mastership course I decided to start a research work titled “Research and development of the combined system of transmitting telegraphic messages in the general use networks” supervised by a great teacher and specialist Deputy dean, Associate professor Turpalov Victor.
I have no reasons to regret about my choice of this speciality as I met all those people I had luck to make friends with.

Plans for the Future

Among my future plans is, of course, my master’s thesis writing and defending. Then it’s a search for a well-paid job to my liking. I’d like to keep on doing table tennis at leisure and go on with computer technologies to keep up with modern knowledge in order to be a successful high quality specialist in this field. And this implies keeping abreast of advanced technologies which, as known, do not stay still  – future is ours. And let’s hope it is a bright one ;)
