Autobiography

I was born on 19th February 1987 in Donetsk city.

  • Father is Kodak Alexander Vasilyevich. Hi is a metallurgical engineer, candidate of technical science, author of several research papers and patents for inventions.
  • Mother is Kodak Natalya Pavlovna. She is a chemical engineer.

Childhood

I had been living since birth in Donetsk city with my parents and elder brother. My brother Anton has been example for me from the childhood. His liking for technique attracted my strong interest and pushed me to choosing my future profession.

School

In 1994 we moved to Konstantinovka town. In 1995 I went to the first grade of comprehensive school with number 10. My teachers sad, that I have abilities in mathematics, chemistry, physics and other. In the upper school I was president of class and participated in the cutler events and work of school self-government. I took part in science competitions and gained the lead.

There was strong teaching staff in my school. I am thankful to my teachers for getting their knowledge and care for us. Especially, I recall our mathematics teacher, Sisoi Vasiliy Fedorovich. Hi taught us to reason and conclude, to think abstract and try to find creative solution to the problems. So, Algebra and Geometry were my favorite subjects at school.

In 2004 I finished 9-th form with distinction and moved with parents to Donetsk city. I went on my education in “Prestij” lyceum. I had chosen specialization of natural sciences. My core subjects were chemistry, physics, algebra and geometry.

University

In 2006 I went up to Donetsk National Technical University. I had been considering my specialty for a long time. I wished my future job would be creative and associated with mathematics. I tried my hand at simply programming, solving logical tasks and making of algorithms. After that I realized that’s just the thing I need to. That carried me away so much as I signed up to take preliminary courses to enter the Computer science department. Everyone all round me sad that is hard department that this specialty isn’t for girl. But I decided that wouldn’t stop me.

My introduction to the occupation took place at lectures on Object Oriented Programming thanks to Natalyi Nikolaivna Datsun. At these lections I get not only basic knowledge and skills of programming, but general concept of my future profession too. The most interesting in terms of currency and organization were “Discrete mathematics”, “Computer networks”, “Programming of systems with servers and data bases” lections. Learning of these subjects helped me to understand fundamental theories and methods, which are used in modern computer science and technologies. This knowledge is good base for future improvement of professional skills.

When I selected theme of master’s work I had remembered about my old love of graphic art. I have got some attainments of computer graphic and geometric modeling. After that I had wanted to expand my knowledge in this field and go on work in this area. I asked Karabchevskogo Vitalia Vladislavovicha, my future science leader, help me to choose theme of master’s work and described my interests in this sphere. My work is based on the master’s work of graduate of our specialty, Hlepitko Igor. This theme interested me with its currency with a view to its wide practical application.

Plans for the future

Firstly I want fulfill my skills and knowledge in information technologies. I would like try my hand at not only software programming but software testing too. I want assimilate test automation. Moreover I want continue learning of computer graphics and geometric modeling and make contribution to this area.

I see myself as software quality assurance engineer or software programming engineer in the future.

I hope travel all over the Europe by the car, visit to Louvre in Paris and Prado picture gallery in Madrid.  The main attractiveness of traveling by car is that you don’t depend on nobody and nothing.  You can stop anywhere you want and anytime you want. I wish to see the Europe such as it is in real, not as it is shown tourists.
