Biography

Childhood

I was born on February, 23 in Dnepropetrovsk. My parents are Kryvoukhov Alexander and Kryvoukhova Ludmila. I was nearly 1 year when my family moved to Makeevka in Donetsk region. I went to kindergarten at the age of 4–7, I think, there were no important things in this period of my life

School

It was 1995 when I began my schooling at school N 44 in Makeevka. The choice of school, I think, was based on the nearness to my home. I tried to do my best and as a result I have graduated from my school with honours (yep, the golden medal is hanging in my room). During my schooling I participated in different competitions, not sports but those which are called Subject Olympiads actually I have never won anything. Well, I didn`t seek this.

Choice of the university

In tenth form the thoughts about my future began to crawl into my head. I didn’t want to go far away from home. That`s why the Universities of Donetsk seemed to be the best choice. As a result I have chosen Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU). Next — the choice of faculty. I wanted to work in the field related to the computers. As a result — faculty of computing technics and chief System programming. From 10 till 11 form I attended courses in programming and mathematics to make easier the entering. As a result in spring 2005 I have entered DonNTU in olympiad system.

University

After the first year the German group was formed and I went to study in it, because there I got a chance to go further in Germany. During 4 years of study the most important subjects for me were: "Object–Oriented Programming", "System Software", "Organization of the databases" and "Computer systems and networks". The most significant achievement during the period of study in the Bachelor is middle mark 5.0 and as a result – the diploma with honours. Nevertheless, the bachelor's degree is incomplete higher education. Therefore, the continuation of study was quite natural. So in 2009 I began to study as a master of a new faculty "Computer Science and Technology".

Before the first year of master's professor Svyatnyj V.A. has selected six best students and offered probation in the German universities (in Stuttgart and Hamburg) for 4 months. I was one of those six men and went to practice in the Institute of Parallel and Distributed Systems (IPVS). Over the entire period of study these 4 months were the most useful and interesting for me. I have gained a very valuable experience in real projects. I participated in the development of the sensory system of symbiotic robot organism. During this practice I have gained skills in working with program Mentor graphics. Another important result is agreement with the head of the practice about further cooperation and master's thesis related to the project of IPVS. With my master's thesis I plan to contribute to the European project and thus make the implementation of theory into practice.

Plans for the future

Now the most important task is correct and useful for the project realization of my master's thesis. And perhaps the continuation of work in Stuttgart in the future. Concerning the more distant objectives – to work in the field of information technology. I believe that my specialty will continue to exist, because it is obvious that computers will not be out of use. Therefore, engineers will be needed in the foreseeable future.
