I was born on July, 31, 1981 in the town of Makeyevka of Donetsk region. A year later, in 1982 my family has moved to the town of Jasinovataya of Donetsk region. My father, Balakin Anatoly Victorovich, works in a carload depot of the station of Jasinovataya, my mother, Balakina Lyudmila Vladimirovna is the head operator of the station of Jasinovataya.

     In 1987 I have entered the first form of the comprehensive school of  I-III stages № 1 of the town of Jasinovataya. My first teacher's name was Lyudmila Anatolyevna Potapenko. She helped me to make my first steps in learning of this mysterious and wonderful world.

     Music has become one of my first hobbies since childhood. My interest to it was expressed by entering the town musical school № 1 in 1989. The most talented and experienced pianist of the school, the manager of the piano department Valeriya Borisovna taught me to play the piano. She rendered me her assistance in development of my musical abilities, I'm very much obliged to her. During my training at musical school I took part in many performances, concerts, competitions both at school and out of it. During two last years at school I played the synthesizer as a member of musical ensemble (group), performing popular variety music.

     My next hobby was sports. I began to be interested in sports since early years. The winning of the first place in the Cup championship in judo was my first important achievement. Then my sports aspirations have been directed to another kind of sports - powerlifting (triathbon) with bodybuilding where I have got more significant results: three diplomas for prize places in Open Town Champion - ships in 1996-1998 and the third adult category in powerlifting. As a member of school team I took an active part in the sports life of school and also in Town competitions among educational institutions in such kinds of sports as basketball, football, track and field. I have got diplomas for it.

     Among my other important hobbies it should be mentioned my love to reading and writing poetry.

     After leaving school I have chosen one of the most authoritative and prestigious high schools of Ukraine - Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU) to get higher education. My interest to the environmental problems of Ukraine and Donetsk region in particular and my aspiration to make my own contribution in their solution have determined the choice of my future occupation.

     In 1999 according to the results of rating tests I have intered the faculty: "Geotechnologies and production management" on a speciality: "Ecology and preservation of the environment in mining industry".

     Being a student in the second year I've got interested in philosophy. A student of the same group and I have written a scientific work on philosophy on the actual topic "The Analysis of correlation of culture and civilization in the making of a man". I have taken part in several philosophical conferences and the publication of theses of the report on the theme: "Modern science and problem of recomprehension  of the classical scientific picture of the world" has become the result of it Since 2001 I am a member of the cultural philosophical students’ club "Aspiration" whose head and organizer is Trofimyuk Victor Konstantinovich, the instructor of "Philosophy" department in DonNTU. Here I have got new friends- like-minded persons and have extended my knowledge in the field of understanding of philosophy essence, research of problems of correlation of culture and civilization, globalization, questions of peculiarities of interaction of geopolitik system "East-West" in the sphere of philosophy, culture, civilization. Much attention has been given to the studying of the philosophical bases of understanding of a person to the Doctrine of Alive Ethics. However the most important achievement of this club in my opinion is giving opportunity to realize needs by means of creation of the favourable atmosphere. It has become possible thanks honourable Victor Konstantinovith’s merits and certainly all the participants of our club.

     Since the second half of 2002 I have joined the Party of Green in Ukraine and now I am an active participant of its public and ecological activities in the form of actions and other arrangements both on the territory of the town of Jasinovataya and in other towns of Donetsk region. It enables me to put into practice my ecological knowledge, getting necessary experience and to benefit to our society and nature, carrying out ecologically directed activity. At present I am an assistant of the Chairman of the town organization of the PGU.

     Since my third year of studying my interest to the scientific activity on the faculty "Nature protection activity" has become more active. I repeatedly took part in students’ scientific conferences. In 2003 I have won the first place at the second international scientific conference of post-graduate students and students "Protection of environment and rational use of natural resources". In 2004 I have received the diploma of the organizing committee for the best report at the third international scientific conference of post-graduate students and students "protection of environment and rational use of natural resources".

     I have chosen a remarkable teacher(instructor) an authoritative scientist a leading expert, a professor, a Candidate of technical Sciences Artamonov Vladimir Nicolayevich to be the supervisor of my studies.

     In 2003 I have graduated from Donetsk National Technical University with honours and have got base higher education on direction "Ecology" having received the qualification of the Bachelor of ecology. In autumn 2003 I have entered the magistracy of DonNTU.

     The choice of my master’s thesis theme "Development of ecological-mathematical model of the coal enterprise with minimization of harmful influence on the environment" was based on the comprehension of the perspectivity of ecological mathematical methods of modeling in the mining industry because their use in the production conditions would give an opportunity to manage the enterprise more effectively by means of forecasting and making of the most rational decision during the planning with the purpose of improvement of ecological economic parameters of an enterprise and creation of all the necessary conditions for consecutive stage-by-stage transition to waste less technologies.

     Since 4004 I began to study Polish at the Polish branch of the faculty of geotechnologies and production management in Don NTU.

     Lately I am engaged independently in studying of culture and philosophy of the East (the Buddism, Daocism). I am interested especially in fighting arts (Kung-Fu, Tay-Tsy Tsyan), their theory and practice.

     I think that formation of outlook of the modern person should be carried out on the basis of synthesis of spiritual and cultural values, philosophy and wisdom of our Fatherland, the West and the East.

 Plans for future

     After the graduating from the magistracy I am planning to enter the postgraduate study in the speciality "Ecological safety" and to continue researches in the given direction to make my own contribution to the development of not numerous (unimportant, scanty) waste technologies and in perspective waste less ones, in coal branch of introduction them in mountain enterprises having provided their ecological safety and high economic efficiency. At the same time I am going to engage in teaching to improve system of ecological education in Don NTU by creation of new ecological disciplines focusing on the formation of ecological consciousness and responsibility. I am going to continue my activity in the PGU. There is an improvement of knowledge of English in my nearest plans and studying of the Chinese language. I also would like to create a family and make me relatives and close to me people happy.

     However the most important component of my vital activity allowing constantly to realize (perfect) myself I think is the continuous and all-round self-improvement in form of physical, intellectual and spiritual development in the most balanced, high-grade image, achievement of harmony with myself society and nature. I believe that the life of each person should be aimed first of all, to the achievement of it, to the stimulation of development of the really unlimited abilities, creative potential, philosophical thinking, and high morals.
