I was born on the 19-th of September 1983 in Donetsk where i still live. I was pretty calm, friendly child who kept smiling all the time (stupid habit that still exists). However the joy all of life was darkened by kindergarten. I hated it more than anything else in the world. To play with friends in the yard or to stay at home with my lovely grandmother - that was something different. In the same time i was visiting a lot of different clubs: painting, dances, gymnastics, leather plastics… still they couldn't make a talent out of me in any of the fields. Music school was waiting for me when i was six. To be exact it wasn't waiting entirely - they refused to take me to the first class saying i was too small. So i started with preparatory class. As a result instead of playing 7 years on piano i was doing this for 8 years.
Next year school was added to this list (it was secondary school N14 at first and then school N17 with profound physics and mathematics). However strange it is i don't know what to write about this period. I was a common schoolgirl, had even time for being "oktyabryenok" (it was an old tradition from the time of Soviet Union.. it doesn't exist anymore though). There was no event that would take place without me taking part in it. Every time when someone had to dance, sing or just appear on the stage - it was me. It's not that my talents suddenly woke up. Just other people had a talent to disappear when some work had to be done. So considerable part of my school life i spent as the head of the class.
In spite of this i liked school. Although we had to study a lot there. Mathematics, Information Technology and English were my favourite subjects. I liked sport too. I still can't imagine my morning without run. I've never missed PE. And i was blaming myself for this every time i was sent to different kinds of competitions. So that's how my life was going: lessons, missed lessons (in case my parents are going to read this i have to tell that there wasn't many of them), performances, hiking in Crimea, holidays… I finished school with the golden medal. Well in case you don't know what it is: it's the kind of encouragement for good marks and behaviour in school. I hope you understand that it's not really made of gold. If it was all kids would be angels. Usually it helps when you want to enter university. But i did this without its help so actually i don't even know why i need it.
I was entering Donetsk State Technical University (now it's Donetsk National Technical University) to study Software. Why? Well, considering family traditions I don't think it could be otherwise - my grandfather, granmother, father, mother, brother - they all graduated from Donetsk Politechnical University. Moreover, my father worked for 26 years in the department of mining machines. Maybe also because my mother did Software. Besides as i told i liked this in school. I had a good group. We managed to study together only for 1 year though. I did my second year with excellent marks and i was suggested to change speciality - to enter German group of System Programming. My hobbies became less important - it's not that easy to study here. I like to study foreign languages. I love sport, dances, but unfortunately i don't have enough time for everything. And i still play piano.
I have spent four years in university, got Bachelor Diploma with honours. Since october 2004 till april 2005 I spent six months in Germany in University of Stuttgart at the Institute for Parallel and Distributed Systems - IPVS (up to the link "About IPVS"). Information about work in Germany may be found under "Target Setting" and "About Work". Considering the fact of importance of all specialities connected with information technologies, i don't complain about my choise. The demand of inculcation of the most modern computer technologies is the key condition for good work of any enterprise. Language knowledge is definitely playing not the last part because information exchange between countries determines the tempo of development a lot. So i've chosen the right speciality. Concerning my future work... we'll see. The main point is that it has to be interesting and it should help me to extend the range of my interests.
