Biography

I was born in Donetsk on the 10th of September 1984.

When I was 3 years old, I entered a kindergarten. I remember a little about staying there except the "quiet hour" and bad food.

From the 1st of September 1991, I was studying in the secondary school #2 in Donetsk. In consequence of low qualified teachers I hadn't any attainments in school subjects. Primary school was like a kindergarten - everything was done under my parent's supervision. Entering the 5th form was difficult for me because my knowledge skills after the previous three forms were quite poor. Staying at school was like a duty. I didn't have much enthusiasm to learning. That's why I often got mark "4". My school wasn't as famous in competitions attainments, as other schools like school #17. Nobody knows where and how I would study now, if I stayed at school #2 till 11th form.

In the beginning of 8th form (1997) my parents asked me about my education in future. Donetsk Technical College (now it is Donetsk College) was one of the most perspective educational establishments in Donetsk. I began studying at the preparatory division at the beginning of the first quarter and from the first day I felt that mark "5" in algebra at the school #2 is equal to mark "3-" at the College. I was forced to get additional lessons from Gladkiy Sergey Valentinovich - a teacher of mathematics at Donetsk Technical College. Gradually my skills in mathematics achieved the needed level. I just sat at the lessons of mathematics at school #2 and didn't do anything because school tasks corresponded to the first level tasks at the College rating examinations but I used to solve third level tasks without many efforts. After having passed entering competitions I became a student of the College. Fare well "dear school".

I began to study at the College in 1998. The difference between school #2 and the College was very big. Students (not pupils!) didn't have a school journal and every student himself but not his parents, was responsible for his studying. The teaching level and relationships between students and teachers were warmer than at school. In the beginning it was hard to study because my knowledge after the school was very poor. I joined form "A" with bias in mathematics. Also, there was a new subject for me - informatics. It was hard for me to learn this subject until I met teachers from Donetsk National Technical University (it was the 9th form of the College).

After 9th form all students had a practice at Departments of Donetsk National Technical University. I had a good time and got a lot of information for thinking. I had no question about the place of my studying in future - DonNTU for ever. I think DonNTU graduates are the best technical engineers, not the graduates of IAI (Institute of Artificial Intelligence problems) or even DonNU (Donetsk National University). Choosing the studying program I was guided by the usability of my future profession and my own predispositions. Thus I selected two directions of education: economics or computer sciences. My parents advised me to choose computer sciences because I could get economical education by correspondence and save a lot of time. My choice stopped on System programming - a new study program which included both hardware and software engineering. Now I can say that this is the most information balanced study program.

My first impressions at the university were a modification of my impressions at the College - deficiency of basic education (and this was even after the DTC, not just after the secondary school #2). Studying order wasn't new for me because there was a similar at the College. On the first year of a university students extend their basic education. In fact the first year of studying at the university repeated two last years of school. I and my friends didn't demonstrate our talents - we just had no possibility to do this. Many students were dismissed after the first year of studying. Many of these people had no idea of this studying program and this department of DonNTU. I can't say anything about other departments but at the Department of Computer Science and Informatics the so called "student life" and a lot of fun won't go. Self-control and discipline is needed to study there or wait for talking with Teplinskiy Sergey Vasilievich.

At the end of the 4th year of studying I had a possibility to continue my education to get master degree. The theme of my master thesis is "Exploring classification using neural networks". Neural networks are a next step in the evolution of computer technologies - computer begins to learn thinking as a human. Potentially the application of this technology can be as wide as a number of solvable tasks for humans. Every researcher brings in his own contribution to exploring this technology. On the 15th of December I was awarded a diploma at a conference "Informatics and computer technologies 2005". My report at this conference contained principal ideas of using neural networks to help people with limited physical abilities.

After graduating I hope to find a work on my specialty. The most prospective for me is a work in bank's information technologies sphere. The alternative is selling computers and computer based systems including foreign connection systems (wireless connections, satellite videoconferences etc.). My purpose is to learn most prospective technologies, to explore the demand of the market for these systems and information about potential consumer's possibilities. Also I want to explore the products of IT-leader and IT-market's tendencies. An individual task for me is exploring business structure of enterprises and the definition of factors improving personnel efficiency.

In future I plan to work in private business. Actually - propose services of delivery, tuning and supporting of modern computer systems.

My strategy in future:

  1. Complete the life priority setting;
  2. Improve self-control and stimulating skills;
  3. Improve time management skills;
  4. Etiquette practical using;
  5. Learn English;
  6. Get rid of bad habits;
