Records m/n mean: m - number of servers, n - number of documents
An analysis of search results of tag lines relevant to the topic of master's work shows the following trends on directions:
- Search engines top. The search engine by Google Inc company turned out the (it were used 3 search robots for Ukrainian-, Russian- and English-speaking requests). This search engine has shown the best results for all requests. Search engine Yahoo has not adapted to search for Russian and Ukrainian sites. Here it showed the lowest results. Though for Ukrainian-speaking requests the lowest results has the search engine gogo. A similar situation with English-speaking requests for search engines Rambler, gogo и Meta, but Yahoo for such requests almost does not concede Google.com, that proves its competitiveness Google for English-speaking countries. Frankly weak results were by Ukrainian search engine Meta, which is gradually giving way to market successfully developing search engine Google.com.ua.
- Яndex search engine. The all requests results, in which were English words, are increased many times (for some queries in 300! times). A similar situation is with requests, whuch contain the Ukrainian word. The results of this search engine on the relevance of the master's work subject it is difficult to estimate because the company added search on the web-portals, which language isn't Russian.
- ODBC data provider. The results of all search engines, except Яndex (perhaps this is related to English-language search, the results of which are markedly improved), show that interest in this technology has sharply declined. Most likely developers are moving databases to new technology, because ODBC already significantly outdated.
- Master's work urgency. The search results show that the databases theme is topical and a growing number of portals and people involved in it. As follows from the tables MS SQL Server database together with ADO.NET data access technology has a tendency of development and interest of many companies. The Data access methods has also attracted the attention of many scientists and databases developers.
