Brief biography
Preschool ageto the top
My name is Starodubtsev Maxim Vladimirovich. I was born on the thirty of April 1986 in Donetsk city. My father – Starodubtsev Vladimir Petrovich was born on 28 May 1956. He is communications technician. My mother’s name is Starodubtseva (Golovey) Olga Yakovlevna. She was born on 15 March 1958. She works as bookkeeper. My brother – Starodubtsev Sergey Vladimirovich is office manager. He was born on 2531 days earlier as me.
I can remember myself only from five years. According to my parents and relations I never created problems for the family and for society, because I was a quiet and sociable boy. I went to the kindergarten #393 “Alie Parusa” up to 7 years. There I learned to count, read, write, add and subtract numbers, but certainly not without the help of my parents. Therefore I wanted to go to school at age six. Unfortunately, my parents did not support my aspiration: "You’ll go to school with your peer friends".
School yearsto the top
The long-awaited day for me, September 1st, came in 1993 and I started studying at school number 51. From the first day I made many friends and began to "absorb" new knowledge. Studying in the school seemed to me not difficult, although I was high achiever only on third form. I took part in many Olympiads and sometimes took prizes.
On my 8th form, or rather in spring, my friend Andrew Pischik told me about one interesting high school “Donetsk College”. I consulted with my parents and decided to enter the school. For entering I had to write exams. I had only two months before the exams, so I had to prepare for the intensive program (perseverance and patience came to the aid) and as it turned out It's not for nothing.
High schoolto the top
So, in June 2000 I entered to College. I liked to learn more in College than in school, because I have many good friends, subjects that are not studying in school, teachers attitude changed and also a lot of striking and emotional impressions of the school process. I studied in class with the technical school, so further choice of chief was almost predetermined for me.
My marks have improved compared with the school. Now I have received only the best marks. For my efforts I received school leaving certificate with honor and get a silver medal.
I learned to play in very interesting game in College – bridge, for which I express one’s thanks to my teacher of history – Pavel Poroshin. I took part in many competitions of different levels: in College, city, regional, international Charity Challenge Cup and always my bridge partner Maxim Soldatov helped me. 2003 was for me “championship year”: I became a champion Charity Challenge Cup, a champion of the College, won the cup “Gold Stanislav”.
In spring 2003 I participated in the regional Olympiad in Math, which Moscow State University has organized. As a result, I received Diploma of third degree, which gave me the right to write preliminary examinations in the Sevastopol branch of Moscow State University with the privileges. But the circumstances of my choice was the Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU). And in May 2003 I entered the DonNTU, the faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, speciality – system programming.
It is difficult to leave the College, but we have to go forward. My teachers said to me: “carve one’s way to the adulthood”.
Universityto the top
I met a lot of new friends in the University and began the educational process. Studying proved much more difficult than I imagined, and I was unable to finish excellent the first term. But I corrected this deficiency in the second term. I liked studying, because every day at the University was interesting and jolly on its own. After finishing of the first year I entered in the German class.
Beginning with the second year it is even more difficult to study. This affected on my third term: “high achiever me not to be”. I thought that some teachers underestimated me and life had dealt me a bad hand. But by 6th term all of my marks reached maximum – excellent.
During studying time at the university I took part in the Olympiad in English and Math. I didn’t become a winner, but in Math I took 3rd place. In 2005-2006 I with my friends participated in the creation of the project for competition Siemens Join Multimedia. Our project got in TOP-100 of the best projects from all over the world. I also have achieved some success in bridge and in 2006 I have become the champion of Donetsk.
In spring 2007 I participated in the III international scientific conference of students, graduate students and young scientists “Computer monitoring and information technologies” on “Search to Russian morphology” – the theme of my research work and I was awarded.
More than 7 months, starting in September 2006, I with my friends and our teacher of German Bulahova Yana Vladimirovna prepared program in order to receive the grant “Studienreise”, which organizes the German state service for the exchange of students DAAD. We have been long waiting for and in July we have got the answer… We won this grant! Therefore, 1-13 of September 2007 I was in Stuttgart, Germany. From the visit to Germany I have a lot of pleasant moments, impressions, photos and video.
It is interesting and funny to travel, especially with friends and loved girlfriend, but let’s go back to the study. By the end of 4th year my average mark grew to 4.78. I took degree examination to excellent and received bachelor’s degree. Then I entered to the magistracy.
In the magistracy I haven’t continued the theme of my research work and have chosen another theme for my master’s work – “Research the methods of data access MS SQL Server”. The supervisor of my master’s work is Leonid Dorozhko.
Looking to the futureto the top
Unfortunately, it’s impossible to read the future, but one can (and should) plan. It is necessary to set the clear aims before ourselves for successful self-realization and self-affirmation. After setting the aims it’s remains only their achievements, which of course is not always as easy as they would have liked.
When I set myself any aim, I try to divide it into small subgoals – it is easier to achieve the main goal, what I usually do. So after the graduation I will have to solve a problem – job placement. In fact, I just set this aim for myself long time ago and the university is a part of this goal.
My professional activity I plan to closely associate with the Internet-technologies and Web-services. I believe that the Internet is the most promising technology of humanity, therefore the development of applications and services for the World Wide Web every day becoming more urgent. To achieve these aims I have already started to explore such technologies as .NET Framework, C#, Silverlight, XAML and AJAX, because I suppose they have greatest potential in the future of the Internet, in particular Web 3.0 or the Semantic Internet.
