Autobiography

I was born in June, 23, 1987 in Chelyabinsk, Russia. My parents are Yazikov Alexander and Piskunova Svetlana. I was the only child, therefore my parents have lavished care and attention upon me since childhood. It played a decisive role in my becoming personality.

In 1991 my family moved to Mariupol, Ukraine. For a number of reasons in 1994 my parents decided to move in the village of Makedonovka (Donetsk region), where my school years began. In 1997 my parents bought a house in the village of Kas'yanovka. I continued learning in Kas'yanovska General Secondary School. My father worked as a teacher of English, so love to English has been inculcated in me since my childhood. And it bore fruit – I was the winner of district competitions.

I have been interested in chemistry since my childhood too. I read all available literature and tried to apply my knowledge in practice. As early as the tenth class I constructed the first installation for making sulfurous gas. Therefore I did not have any doubts faculty I should to enter. Chemistry entered my life firmly, and I intended to continue self-perfection in the area of this many-sided and, undoubtedly, great science.

A turning-point in my life was entering Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU) on specialty "Equipment of chemical industry and enterprises of building materials". I knew chemistry well; therefore taking ratings was not difficult for me. On the first course I became the winner of the University competition in chemistry and took part in the All-Ukrainian student competition which took place in Kiev. This moment was very important for me, because I met with the person who changed my views on life radically. This person was Ludmila Rubleva, (Candidate of Chemical science), an associate professor of department of general chemistry of DonNTU. Since 2005 simultaneously with study I have been researching kinetics of nucleophilic substitution at the atom of the spatially laboured hexavalent sulphur under the supervision of Ludmila Rubleva. Enough interesting and useful things turn out at the turn of sciences. Working in the chemical laboratory from the one hand and "machinery" education from the other hand, made it possible for me to see ecological problems of by-product coke plants with a new point of view and to make a considerable contribution to development of new technology of dephenolizing of sewage, to bind it with my scientific work and give the real right for living to this project. Theme of my master's thesis is "Research and development of technique and technology of chemical sewage treatment of by-product coke plants".

Lately I have been interested in computer design and planning in the systems COMPASS 3D and Cosmos. It’s not a secret that the future depends on computer calculations, therefore I am going to use them actively in master's degree work and I think, that skills in this area of knowledge will be useful for me in the future.

After graduating from the university I would like to go to work on specialty. I really don’t want to be a "microscope which is used for hammering in nails". I consider that my knowledge and abilities are worth using. Moreover, I’m going to enter postgraduate study, where I can develop research and perfect myself as a respectable person, specialist and researcher.
