Influence of the conditions of supplying a mixture of fuel gases on the characteristics and mode of operation steam-gas combined cycle plant.*
OBJECT
To improve the technology of recycling waste gases of metallurgical production of JSC «AMC», to determine how do the conditions of submission and the characteristics of the mixture of fuel gas influence on the final parameters of the CCPP, to develop a program of recycling the waste gases of metallurgical production in the CCPP with the changing conditions and characteristics of their supplying.

- To analyze the parameters, characteristics, structure and mode of operation of this steam plant.
- To research the characteristics of fuel sources, the conditions and modes of supply.
- To calculate changes in the characteristics of the mixture fuel gas, depending on the conditions of supply
- To make a thermal calculation of the power plant
- To develop a program according to tht final installation settings from the conditions of submission and performance of fuel mixture
RELEVANCE AND MOTIVATION
Progress in the heat is associated with increased efficiency, environmental friendliness, lower material and capital, increased reliability and operating characteristics of power units of thermal power plants. One of the main directions in addressing these challenges - the introduction of combined cycle power plant (STAG).
Steam technology in the past two decades has become the most popular in the global energy sector, and accounts for up to two thirds of all the input today in the world generating capacity. This is because in steam power plants burn fuel is used in binary-cycle - at first in the gas turbine and then to the steam, and therefore the effectiveness of any PSU thermal power station (TPS), working only in the vapor cycle.
Another important advantage of PSU is that their construction requires significantly less capital investment than the construction of thermal power plants of other types. In addition, such power can be cut in stages - first the gas turbine part, and then steam dostraivat «appendage».
A plan for technical improvements of Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant (AMK) provides for the construction and commissioning of steam power plant (PGES), with a total capacity of 303 MW, consisting of two steam units (PSU), the unit output of 151.5 MW each company «Mitsubishi» (Japan). These steam installations as fuel use flammable gases steel: blast furnace, coke oven gas and converter.
In the design it was necessary to solve complex problems relationship sources of fuel gases, which are characterized by significant volatility of production (output) of fuel gas in accordance with the characteristics of technological processes in the steel industry and the consumer, who has certain requirements for a stable supply of large volumes of (spending) of fuel gas from given calorie, range and speed of change. To solve these problems has taken a number of innovative design and technical solutions: the use of gasholder, gazopovysitelnyh stations, gas pipelines of large diameters, and locking and regulating valve for them. But the use of this equipment may not completely reverse the changes in costs of fuel gas, the sources of which are characterized by significant volatility of production:
- for blast furnaces as a short and intense pulsation blast furnace gas flow rate of 5. 10 min at a speed of changes in gas flow to 5.0 thousand nm3/min due process, and longer jumps when you change tuyere or conduct preventive maintenance works;
- for the converters may double decreasing output converter gas for 12. 14 minutes while venting two converters or reduce the overall clock output converter gas by half a stop at one of the converters for the repair and preventive work, for example, replacement of lining;
- for coke production we have stability of the outputing coke oven gas and its characteristics.
PROPOSED SCIENTIFIC NOVELTY
Using the steam plant to generate electricity in the world has long been known. Feature of this setup is that it will be used for metallurgical enterprises, in which fuel to use its secondary resources - low-calorie gas blast furnace, converter and coke industries. For this purpose, will be purchased by special installation PSU Japanese company «MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES, LTD», for which their work can use the low gas. Plants have a high efficiency, at 44.6%.
The project to build steam installation is unique not only for the company and the city of Alchevsk, and Ukraine in general, the scope of tasks, its innovative technical solutions to energy, modern approaches to solving energy and environmental problems of large enterprises.
Scientific novelty of this work is that will be calculated thermal circuit installations, the calculation according to the output parameters and the mode of installation of the conditions and characteristics of feed mixtures of fuel gases, a program of modeling and automatic process of these calculations.
Results, which I have for the time of finalization the Abstract
- I reviewed the developments and researches of this topic in the country and abroad.
- I analyzed parameters, characteristics, structure and mode of operation of the steam plant.
- I researched the characteristics of sources of supplied fuel, the conditions and modes of supply.
- Made the calculation of the combustion mixture (BFG+COG) available data on the composition of fuel, a percentage of the mixture, the output characteristics of the products of combustion.
- Made the calculation of the combustion mixture of three gases: COG, BFG and LDG on the available data on the composition of fuel, a percentage of the mixture, the output characteristics of the combustion products.
- Modeled the process of changing the percentage composition, performance, consumption of a mixture of three gases: COG, BFG and LDG, depending on changes in the share of each gas (the instability of filing) in the mixture. An data table changes and decisions on the use of the composition of the mixture for combustion in the combustion chamber of the steam plant.
- Started the thermal calibration calculation.I have already calculated the temperature of combustion of a mixture of three gases: coke, converter and blast furnace in the combustion chamber of the steam plant.
