Dmitriy Sabelnikov
Theme of Master’s work:
Development of the electronic system of
control of motor transport emission
I, Dmitriy Sabelnikov, was born on November, 25th in 1988 in the Mariupol city in Donetsk region.
Mather – Vera Sabelnikova, the date of birth: 08.04.1961.
Father – Alexander Sabelnikov, the date of birth: 18.06.1959.
Sister – Irina Sabelnikova, the date of birth: 01.05.1983.
In 1994, when I was 6 years old, I entered school № 53 of Mariupol city. Being the pupil of fourth class I have visited the station of young technicians (SYT) with an excursion, and this event was very significant for me because after this excursion aviation became my first hobby. So, practically until my 9th class I was engaged in an aircraft modeling hobby group in the SYT. It is so amazing to create something using just the improvising materials. And it is not just “something”, but the different kinds of flight models, radio models, the identical copies of real aircrafts that can fly and you can control and operate their flights.
After finishing my 9th general educational class, I moved up to 10th class with a mathematical bias. During the period from 10th to 11th class I had many hobbies, such as hand-to-hand fighting at militia school of Mariupol and a break-dance (that was my favorite hobby of that time), and also the preparation for examinations to University. This period was the most fruitful concerning the participation in the various academic competitions, testing, ratings on the mathematics, in the result of which I was accepted to three Universities of Ukraine. They are: Priazovskiy State Technical University (PSTU) in Mariupol, Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU) and Kharkov National University of V.N.Karazin (KNU). My choice was the DonNTU, because this University occupies the one of the leading positions in a rating of High Schools in Ukraine. Then it was left only to finish my 11th class.I had finished school in 2006 with a silver medal.
So, the University was chosen. But why it was exactly the specialty «Electronic systems»? In 2006 I understood that the computer technique is the most quickly developing and perspective branch of a science and technique. That’s why I chose the faculty of computer information technology with outlook for the future. Besides that I had a desire to know not only programming, but also the construction of computer "iron". That is why I chose a specialty «Electronic systems».
The period from 2006 to 2010 was difficult, interesting and creative in respect of studying. Subjects concerning the programming in various languages, programming of microcontrollers, graphic packages and modeling of electronics by special programs came especially easy to me. The big result of studying in the Bachelor program on a specialty «Electronic systems» is the diploma with honors. In 2010 I have continued my studying on this specialty on Master’s program. My scientific supervisor is one of the best experts in the field of modern electronics. This is Ph.D. Khlamov Michael.
The topic my Master’s work is «Development of the electronic system of control of motor transport emission». Why did I choose this topic? The ecology problem is always actual in the world, and especially in our Donetsk region. Moreover, the electronic system will be developed on the basis of a perspective tendency of electronics – the optoelectronics. That is why this topic is a very interesting scientific problem, the solution of which will help to understand the nuances and aspects of the optoelectronics and will be very useful for ecological control of air and help to prevent the excess of MPC of harmful substances in motor transport emissions.
There are a lot of plans for the future. Among the nearest plans - to get a job, which would allow me to apply practically my life ware and experience that I got in University, and of course with the perspective of a career and also intellectual development. Also I want to see the architecture of Italy, France and Spain ... and I put the dots at the end, because it is difficult to specify all my plans – it would take so much space and time.
