Introduction

At the present stage of economic development competitiveness is an important element of many economies around the world. The competitiveness extends to all levels and stakeholders: production, plant, industry, region and the country as a whole, a significant role is becoming the competitiveness of enterprises as a distinctive element of the economy. Currently, the problem of increase of competitiveness of the enterprise is becoming increasingly important. In market conditions it is impossible to achieve stable success in business, if you do not calculate the efficiency of its development, not continuously accumulate information about their own prospects and abilities, on the state of the markets, not to assess the place of competitors on them, and not to analyze the competitiveness of the enterprise.

1. Theme urgency

The relevance of this topic due to the fact that the interest of enterprises in their activities reinforces the need to improve competitiveness. To ensure the survival of the enterprise in modern conditions the staff should be able to realistically assess the condition of the company and existing potential competitors that require improvement of all services and divisions.

2. Goal and tasks of the research

The aim of this work is to improve theoretical and methodical bases and development of practical recommendations for improving the competitiveness of the enterprise.

Main tasks of the research:

  1. To consider the Theoretical basis of the concept of competition, formulated by different authors;
  2. A review of the definitions of "enterprise competitiveness";
  3. To analyze the main methods of evaluation of competitiveness of the enterprise;
  4. o consider the factors of competitiveness of the enterprise.
  5. To analyze the role of human resources as a way to improve competitiveness;

Research object: theoretical, methodological and practical bases of formation of programs of increase of competitiveness of enterprises.

Research subject: the process of formation of theoretical aspects of competitiveness.

Scientific and practical significance of the research

The theoretical significance of the obtained results is the generalization of the scientific information for a selection of possible ways to improve competitiveness; to determine the need for further improvement of approaches to formation of effective system of competitiveness management of the enterprise.

The practical significance of the master's work consists in the analysis and development of methods of increase of competitiveness of the modern enterprise.

Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty consists in a substantiation of theoretical and methodical bases of competitiveness management of the enterprise, development of measures to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, allowing to adapt existing tools and methods to modern conditions of functioning..

Planned results. In the course of performing the master's work will be developed a complex of measures on increase of competitiveness of the enterprise.

3.The concept and essence of competitiveness of the enterprise

This paragraph describes the definition of "competition" from the point of view of domestic and foreign authors. On the basis of the study was formulated the following definition: competitiveness is the ability to conduct a profitable business in a competitive environment.

4. Methodological approaches to assessing the competitiveness of enterprises

This paragraph defines the basic methods of measuring competitiveness. Using the evaluation of the competitiveness of the manufacturer can assess their actual and potential ability to design, build, sell, economically and financially secure, to be technically served salable products (services).

5. The role of human resources in ensuring the competitiveness of the enterprise

Personnel potential of the company represents the skills and abilities of employees which can be used to enhance its effectiveness in different spheres of production, in order to generate income (profit) or achievement of social effect.Staff, and effective management today is a key factor of competitiveness of the organization, the achievement of economic success.

Conclusion

Thus, at the current stage of research the theoretical aspects of competitiveness. The methods of estimation of competitiveness of the enterprise, highlighted their advantages and disadvantages.

Achieving competitive advantage in the market is largely determined by the competitiveness of the enterprise, the nature of which is primarily due to the presence of many determining its internal and external factors. It is obvious that the wider the company set competitive advantages, the more prerequisites for success in the market or individual segments of this market.
