Biography
Personal development
My name is Egor Serdiuk, I am 22 years old, and I am a student programmer immersed in the exciting world of technology. My story began in the city of Donetsk, Donetsk region, where I discovered my passion for computers as a teenager, but let's go in order.
I was born on April 22, 2001, I am Russian by nationality, like my parents.
My parents are the real support in my life. My mother, Serdiuk Julia Viktorovna (born 28.05.1978), a caring and patient woman, has always been there to support me in my hobbies and aspirations. She closely follows the order in the house, creating coziness and cleanliness. It is important to note that in addition to her home care responsibilities, my mom also makes time for her personal growth and development, which I have successfully inherited from her. Since my mother is a humanitarian mind, I inherited from her her love for all kinds of creativity: music, books, painting, handicrafts, as well as her ability to find non-standard solutions to seemingly mundane tasks. She is a perfect example of how to successfully combine the roles of a housewife, mother and self-development.
Serdiuk Pavel Vladimirovich (born 30.12.1976) - my father, a man of extraordinary fortitude. He worked, like his father before him, as a miner. Work at depth required from him physical endurance and psychological stability. When I was born he decided to change his profession and went to work at the Donetsk Metallurgical Plant as a mechanic for repair of metal rolling equipment. The transition from miner to metallurgist required not only a change of professional skills, but also efforts in self-education. My father learned new technologies and methods in the field of metallurgy, striving for new heights in his career. He became my mentor in many aspects of the technical world. For example, I inherited from him an aptitude for exact sciences such as math, physics, chemistry, and others that use precise formulas and algorithms, which has helped me many times in my adult life.
Unlike many children, I did not attend kindergarten in my early years. Instead, my parents chose to provide me with preschool education at home. This choice was special and influential to my initial learning experience. Homeschooling gave my parents the opportunity to tailor the educational process to my individual needs and pace of learning. It allowed me to delve into topics I was interested in and leisurely learn new skills. Later, when I entered school, I already had some basic knowledge, which helped me to successfully integrate into the educational process. For example, at the age of 4 I started learning English on my own, and at the age of 5 I already knew the whole multiplication table from 1 to 10.
In my childhood, I was not only educated at home, but also spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying the fresh air and active play. My parents always supported the idea that vigorous physical activity and communicating with nature played an important role in my development. We often visited parks, such as the Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after A. S. Shcherbakov or the Donetsk Metallurgical Plant Park, where we would spend hours riding rides, running on lawns and exploring the surrounding nature. These walks became not only a way of entertainment, but also a unique experience. The variety of vegetation, sounds of nature, and interesting finds in the parks stimulated my curiosity and imagination. While walking outside, I also interacted with children from neighboring homes, which helped build my social skills. Playing together and mutual discoveries created pleasant memories and strengthened my relationships with others.
At the age of 6 came a stage of my life that promised to be difficult but interesting. I went to study at the Municipal General Educational Institution «School №90 of Donetsk». During the years of study I often showed a high level of knowledge and excellent abilities to learning activities. I was interested in exact sciences, but also I was fond of many other subjects. At school I actively participated in subject olympiads, made presentations on various subjects, such as mathematics, computer science and citizenship of Donbass. For lessons I systematically did homework, actively worked and took part in competitions and quizzes, defending the honor of my class. I took an active life position, showed initiative, could be a leader when it was required and was always open for communication with classmates. My attitude to my parents, teachers and classmates was honest, and I openly spoke the truth, even in difficult situations. My first class teacher Kravchenko Natalia Vladimirovna, as well as the last, Sergienko Olga Viktorovna, gave me not only general school knowledge, but also taught me independence, the ability to defend their own position, for which I am eternally grateful to them. As a result, I successfully finished the eleventh grade in 2018 with an excellent grade.
Professional development
The professional formation of my career is connected with my choice of Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU) and my aspiration to create games. My passion for technology and programming led me to the decision to choose a path in the field of information technology. The choice of DonNTU Faculty of Intelligent Systems and Programming was due to its excellent reputation and quality educational process in the field of computer science.
The university provided an extensive course in programming, computer science and technology, making it an ideal place to develop my skills and get a quality education. The Department of Intelligent Systems and Programming provided the necessary base to immerse myself in the world of game development, providing knowledge in programming, computer graphics and artificial intelligence for which I should say thanks to all the lecturers and assistants in the department. Their lectures and practical classes were not only a source of knowledge for me, but also an inspiration for further academic and professional achievements. I saw them as an opportunity not only to deepen my skills, but also to realize myself in video game creation.
Special thanks go to my supervisor Bychkova Elena Viktorovna and supervisor Efimenko Konstantin Nikolayevich for their valuable contribution to my education and professional development. Their support, care and guidance have been invaluable in my learning journey.
Creating games for me is a synthesis of my passion for technology and my interest in the entertainment industry. I see them as a unique opportunity to combine creativity, programming and technical skills. Game development is not only a programming process, but also a multifaceted creative process involving design, animation, sound and many other aspects.
The combination of education in DonNTU and my desire to create games determined the choice of the topic of my diploma, "Development of virtual simulator for learning to drive a car", because I am convinced that the world of computer games provides great opportunities for innovation, creative thinking and technical realization of ideas.
Goals, plans and vision of the future
My professional plan includes not only the development of outstanding computer games, but also active participation in technological development. I strive to create innovative technological solutions that not only improve the quality of games, but can also be applied to other fields.
To achieve these goals, I will continue my active learning and professional development. Having completed my studies at the Faculty of Intelligent Systems and Programming at Donetsk National Technical University, I plan to continue taking training courses to keep up to date with the latest trends in the industry and continue to improve myself.
My dream and vision for the future inspire me to create, innovate and strive for a global understanding of the world. I believe that through my professional activity I will be able to combine passion and labor, creating not only successful projects, but also making a positive contribution to society and culture.
