Personal development
My name is Valeria, I was born on July 27, 2002 in the city of Makeyevka, Donetsk region. My mother's name is Elena, my father's name is Oleg. I also have a stepfather, Andrei, who replaced my father and became a dad for me. Thanks to him, I have a younger sister, her name is Dasha, she is 10 years younger than me. They are my biggest support.
Since early childhood, I was fond of drawing and reading, loved to go out with my friends. I was a diligent student at school, and eventually became an excellent student. Curiosity, the support of teachers and the pursuit of knowledge had a significant impact on my development.
Teachers played a special role in my formation: Tamara Semyonovna Saulenko, who instilled in me a love of English, and Olga Anatolyevna Rudnik and Larisa Vyacheslavovna Tsysar, who made mathematics a fascinating science. Vladimir Nikolaevich Mislavtsev, a teacher of geography and economics, taught me to see in every subject the breadth of knowledge and their connection with real life.
Literature occupied an important place in my life. Ukrainian poetry, especially the works of Taras Shevchenko, awakened in my soul a reverent attitude to the beauty of the word. Russian literature revealed philosophical depth through the works of Dostoevsky and Pushkin. Foreign authors such as Charlotte Bronte and Oscar Wilde expanded my understanding of the world and human nature. Reading helped me to form values and a worldview, and artistic images from literary works inspired me to reflect on life, morality and human relationships.
Professional development
As a child, I wanted to become an archaeologist or a psychologist. As I grew older, as my interests changed, my vision of the ideal profession for me also became the profession of a criminologist, a writer, and a translator. Even at the moment, these professions seem to me to be just as interesting as they were then. Although I was going to become a translator, in my last year of school I thought about the profession of a programmer. The computer science teacher was able to explain the subject in such an accessible way that I felt interested and confident in my abilities.
I applied only to Donetsk National Technical University. Elena Osipovna Savkova played a big role in the choice, who supported me and helped me decide on the direction.
The chosen field covered many aspects, including programming, system design, database management, network administration and information security. It provided an opportunity to choose a profession from a system analyst, a system architect to a software engineer, a Web programmer, and an information security specialist.
At university, I found like-minded people and hobbies that have become an important part of my life. Four years of study flew by unnoticed, but they were filled with a lot of different emotions. During my studies, I participated in Olympiads, one of which in algebra earned me a place in the top five. When the question arose about continuing my master's degree, I had no doubt that these years would also become important for me in shaping myself as a specialist.
The master's program opened up new opportunities for in-depth study of subjects and conducting scientific research. This time became for me not only a continuation of my academic career but also a period of self-determination and the formation of professional guidelines. I realized how important it is not only to acquire knowledge but also to apply it effectively in real-world projects, as well as to constantly develop skills that will be in demand in the dynamic world of technology.
I chose an urgent problem of urban transport as the topic of my thesis, inspired by my personal experience of traveling in the morning on congested routes. The memories of the clogged intercity buses 107D, 111 and 121 in the morning, when I went to study, left an indelible imprint.
Goals, plans and vision of the future
I plan to improve as a programmer, developing professional and personal qualities. In the coming years, stability and career growth are important to me in order to gain experience and contribute to the development of interesting projects.
I am interested in an in-depth study of design, including both visual and user aspects, and I want to study various approaches to web design, including adaptive design, which will ensure comfortable use of the site or application on any device, as well as the basics of UI/UX design, in order to learn how to create interfaces that will not only be aesthetic, but also functional.
In addition, I am interested in studying the process of project management in the field of development. Project management requires not only technical knowledge, but also the ability to interact with clients, team and stakeholders. I would like to develop my skills in organizing work processes, coordinating tasks, and efficiently allocating resources.
In addition to professional development, my dream is to live in a place where a comfortable urban environment and nature are combined, so that every day inspires new achievements. I hope that my experience and enthusiasm will help me implement ideas that can benefit people.
