Autobiography

My name is Nikita Kalinin. I am the person, who sets the aims and achieves them bit by bit. I believe, that intellect is the main gift of God to all mankind and everybody can solve all assigned tasks by this instrument. I like to spend time in the company of cheery and interesting people. In free time I engage in sports.

I was born 21 March, 1987 in Donetsk city. My memories from childhood are enough obscure and in general untied fragments. But still I keep in mind that I spent a lot of time in the house of my great-grandmother in the city of Yasinovataya. According to my parents words, I learned to read quite early. The fact that I liked playing cards very much and at the age of 3-4 years I could win grown-up. My parents paid attention to this situation and played cards with me instead of this I had to read fixed pages of book. In such a way I learned to read. Until now I retain in my memory the moment when I saw the computer for the first time. I was 5 years old, and for me it was only a toy. At that moment my fate was decided: I will became a programmer.

At the age of 7 years old I went to school. That event I had been waiting for a long time impatiently, because I didn’t like the kindergarten. Oh….how much time I regretted about this later… The school #44 was my first one, because at that time my parents rented apartment not far from it. I studied in that school not long and the situation changed for better. My parents retuned to their native district Zaperevalnaya. And the strongest form “A” of the school #136 opened its door with pleasure for me. My teacher was Zinaida Vasilevna. She was the person whom I can talk a lot about. But her main merits were managerical abilities, which helped her to join all the form thus much that we are friends to this day. At that time I started to learn English. It was serious decision of my parents and an important step for my future life. My autobiography is not limited only my studies. From early years I had been gone in for sports. My father sent me to tennis, which I didn’t like particularly. These trainings were held not far from my house, that’s why it was the only possible place to engage in sports. Moreover I attend the basketball circle.

In secondary school my new form-master became Ryasanova Elena Anatolievna. She was geography teacher, really splendid pedagogue and gorgeous person. I cannot re-count all excursions and trips, which she organized. From that time I try not to pass any opportunity to visit interesting places. There were many different competitions, events and theatrical performances in which I participated with a great desire. Nevertheless my cup of tea was mental work. So I became the winner of maths district competition in 6 form. The results of competition made my maths teacher Isaeva Elena Anatolievna examine me closely and train on individual base in order to achieve better result. I am so grateful for her patience and spending time on my studies waiting from me good results. Unfortunately I didn’t justify her hopes. I think that I devoted not enough time to my skills promotion. After ending the 6 form my parents bought the computer to me. It helped me to improve the level of user but it wasn’t the question of programming. In 8 form I was sent to programming circle in Palace of Pioneers. Attending that studies I understood that programming was my cup of tea. My lecturer Tatyana Semenovna managed this subject professionally and she could awake interest in bored pupils. I consider that my experience, which I received at these lectures helped me to become really professional programmer. At that time I began to show high results not only on district, but also on regional level, participating in different competitions. On my opinion, I didn’t have enough time in order to achieve maximum results.

In the upper school I thought about my entry the university and fully prepared myself to that moment. Besides I had to take part in all competitions on exact sciences. During two years I have been fulled out with work. And now I assimilate quietly that there are moments of our life without relaxation. Besides all preceding I would like to thank the headmaster of my school Galkin Sergei Georgievich. My school was my second house. I always remember that magical time as better time of my life.

I successfully graduated school and enter the university without any problems, guarantying myself a good place in the rate of other students (6 place). I went to university with a great desire to work. But from the first time I faced with full coldness to student from instructors. There were not conditions for giving an incentive to study. It was said that only self-independent work of students could help in studies, particularly, memorizing the information. But learning by heart all information wasn’t fruitful for me. I was confronted by misunderstanding, which began to spurn from university. In the first half-year I got mark 4 on information science (high mark -5). I didn’t understand correct the conditions of theoretical question and I wasn’t given the chance to improve my mistake. I have been receiving scholarship and it was one of the main motivations to my studies. During my students years I have got necessary knowledge, good experience and skills. But if I had the same desire and energy as it was at the first year of my study, I would have achieved better and useful results in the programming field.

At the second year of study I was invited to work in the Computing Center of Donetsk National Technical University. By that time I had wide experience of programming that’s why I quickly jointed the stuff. In my spare time I worked heartily and responsibly at this Center. My superior was excellent person and specialist Merenkova Ludmila Lvovna. I appreciate her for exactingness and understanding. This work had both advantages and disadvantages. I could receive the experience of working up and database. But the weak financing called a spectrum of problems.

In 2008 I got bachelor’s degree. But I didn’t receive one point for budgetary place in the Master's Degree Course. Then I thought about this seriously. I decided to enter the paid Master's Degree Course. To pay for the Master's Degree Course I should find a new job. Taking into account my great experience, I found a new job at once. The job was connected with high technologies and Internet programs. The main disadvantage was the low salary, which was promised to increase. All my remarks and propositions were taken into consideration and realized. For the first time it was difficult for me because I was working and studied simultaneously. I got useful experience and after some time I could take some extra orders. Later all the things took their places: my salary became appropriate to my work. And one unfinished thing is the receiving of my diploma.

My plans for the future are to get a great experience and good job. Also I will try to start my own business which will be close to programming. Then I plan to build up a family.

At the end I want to thank to my parents, my teachers and my grandmother. Without their help I couldn’t have become the person I am now.
