Curriculum Vitae

Childhood

All my life I've spent in two one of the most industrial cities of Ukraine - Krivoy Rog city and Donetsk city. I was born on April the 17-th, 1987 at maternity hospital (can't remember it's number) of Krivoy Rog city. The rays of the warm Spring Sun were streaming through the window and cheerful sparrows have been looking at me from their branches. My childhood was mostly joyful and merry. Since 7 years old I have lived in two above cities: summer time was spent with my grandparents in Krivoy Rog and the rest of the year in Donetsk with my parents, where I used to attend a kindergarten. The last (my kindergarten) was less pleasant for me. So my best memories of childhood are associated with those easygoing days spent in Krivoy Rog, which I'll bring through the rest of my life. I don't really know why, but there is one fact I still remember from my childhood - the fact, that I used to swim in river Kalmius in Donetsk. I've been taken away from the Kindergarten during rest time by my father or mom (if one of them left their work earlier this day) and headed to the beach. I guess the pollution was not less at those times, but anyhow - all of us are still alive and in a good health.

School

When I was 7 years old my life have smoothly come to the period, when it's time to go to school. So, on the 1-st of September, 1994 I took my books and marched to the school #35 of Donetsk city. In the very beginning it was not easy to study, because I had to sit still for 5 or 6 hours a day, listen to the teacher, write something or solve some other tasks. (I guess, everybody has kind of this problems in one's life). But thanks to my grandpa I had a quite good skill in reading since I was 6 and after some time school life stopped to seem to me so hard. At primary grades I was quite good at all humanitarian subjects and when math (or arithmetic) came up later, I also didn't meet any problems while studying it. Approximately since 5-6 grades I became found of foreign languages, especially English and German. At that moment my parents gave me a big support at this interest (and I'm really thankful to them for that) and they helped me with the subject: for 5 years I used to study with private teachers. Later I got my subscription to the library of «British Council» (at Donetsk National University). There I could communicate with many interesting people too. Donetsk is the big and impulsive, so very soon I found a «Unique club» with the help of advertising at the British Council. «Unique» was a club for all those who are interested in learning foreign languages (English mostly). There with the cup of tea and cookies everybody could communicate with people, for whom English is the mother tongue , and doing this helped to improve orally language skills a lot. Once I found a book of computer science (I still do remember it's name : Ôàðîíîâ «Ïðîãðàììèðîâàíèå íà Turbo Pascal»). It was (and still is) a very good book on general programming with Turbo Pascal, which opened a new brand world of computer science for me. I became found of this subject very and very fast and spent a lot of hours at school, writing first programs using Pascal and C languages. Soon i got a PC at my own and continued training my skills at home. Probably, that was the start point to determine my future choice of future profession. When I was at 11-th grade my parents and me changed a place of leaving and we moved to live to another part of the city, so I had to leave my old school and moved to a new one. It was a school number 3. Here I very soon found new friends, got introduced to new teachers. And even though I spent only one year at this school, it became for me even more closer and more native then the previous one.

University

So, during the last year of my studying at school I had two choices: eighter enter Institute of Foreign Languages at Gorlovka or try myself as student of Donetsk National Technical University at the Department of Computer Science. So, as it can be seen, I made the second choice. But my skills at foreign languages helped me (and still help me) a lot, be course the documentation that at some degree relates with the subject area is mostly written in English. My first two years at University have passed really fast. Many subjects, which seemed to be know by me (like mathematics, physics and others) were rediscovered at their other, deeper and more scientific sides. Among all other my teachers at university I'd like to pay attention to the teacher of Higher Mathematics - Gerasemchuk Viktor Semenovich. This person is highly qualified professional at his area, who managed to give a good quality course to me and made me like math even more. Since the third course new courses, related more to computer science area came up in front of my studying life. But I have also successfully passed over them and passed final examination at the degree of A (5). So, I decided to keep on studying and entered Magistracy at DonNTU.

Diploma theme selection

The theme for my Diploma is «Methods planning for mobile platforms software developing». The theme of my future Diploma, to my opinion,is quite perspective and has big future, because nowadays wifi «Hot Spots» at airports, cafe places and other are not a rare any more, as it used to bee a couple of years ago. Also mobile operators provide several quite cheap services for connection to Internet. So, studying of principles of working with hardware that support these technolodgies is very interesting. My Scientific adviser - Malcheva Raisa Viktorovna is a person of high qualification and experience. And I'm sure, that with her help I'm going to achive good results.

Future

After successfull graduating I'm planning to do a lot of things. Among those, about which we could speak now are: take part at «Paris-Dakar» car racing competition, learn dealing with surfboard and to surfboard in the Pacific Ocean at Australian coast and participate at annual yacht regatta around the world. It's not really interesting to make forecasts about plans for future jobs and occupations. But the only thing I'd like to notice, is that my future job will deal with OpenSource software world (new products creation and support for existing ones)
