BIOGRAPHY

Childhood

I was born in the summer evening on June, 14th, 1988 in Donetsk. My parents, Evtjushkin Boris and Evtjushkina Zoe, lived at that time with grandparents Kate and Feodor. I spent my childhood mostly in that house.

As I heard it was an extraordinary process to choose a name for me. All my relatives took part in it. As a result, I was given a very accurate name because I have my great-grandmother’s Anna character.

When I was one year old, my parents moved to a high-rise building at the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk. A new flat was on the eighth floor. Since that time we called this place simply «the Eighth Floor». A wonderful view was opened from our windows. In one direction there were numerous warehouse’s roofs of the Northwest Industrial zone and the remote pit refuse heaps. And in the other directions you could see a forest which alternated with the open territories of an arable land. I remember how I was carried along this forest in the pram. It was one of the first recollections of my childhood.

We used to go to the grandparent’s very often and I was excited to travel there by my favourite car – bright yellow grand-dad's Zaporozhets. It was a pleasure to play with my sister and cousin Olga in the big garden, under the shadows of grapevines in a court yard. Also it was quite interesting for me to observe hens, which were walking in a garden. In summer we used to go to the “Donetsk Sea”, and in winter we used to go skiing on the ice hills and build tunnels in huge snowdrifts.

The first and the lightest memories of my childhood are connected with «the Eighth Floor», the grandparent's house, and also with the house in Novomoskovsk, where we used to go to our relatives.

When I was 4 years old we moved to the city center. My mother continued to work, and I started living with grandparents. This moment was very hard for me because I was "a mother's daughter". I wasn’t so tied to the father, because in that period he used to spend a lot of time on frequent business trips. But his arrivals were always like holiday. He brought us a lot of interesting and "exotic" gifts.

I didn’t have very good relations with my sister then. We often quarreled, and did not believe our mum's words: “Wait, when you grow up you will treat each other as the dearest people in the world”. And mum, as usual, was right. Later we became very close friends.

And also I was a big dreamer. I used to think out different stories which ostensibly occurred to me, and I told them very plausibly. Unfortunately, I couldn’t remember details of my childhood. When I’ve grown up, my parents told me about these facts. I do not know whence this talent has come. Whether I thought out all these stories or retold my bright dreams. And I don’t know where it has gone after. Probably any “creative issue” needs to be developed.

School days

In 1995 I went to the first form of school ¹38 at the Lenin’s district. Since then I lived with the grandparent’s during the working week and I spent weekends with my parents and sister. The school was a kilometer away from home, but for me and my friend Olga the way home always lasted for more then an hour. In autumn we collected a herbarium, and in winter we used to climb on the snowdrifts and roll in snow.

I was a very active child. I used to climb the trees and roofs, play with friends outdoor games (dolls were not interesting for me), ride a bicycle, run fast. In summer evenings, after day heat had fallen down, I liked to climb the grandparent’s attic. I found it interesting to read a book and to observe the city from that height. And there was a remarkable view. Generally speaking, reading has become my favourite hobby since I had learnt to read. I had read all extensive home children's library and passed to serious novels and detectives. Unfortunately, at senior school I had to refuse the hobby because of a big load of the school program. I don’t like to prolong reading for a long time because in this case the whole impression of the book is lost. So it was possible to read only during my holidays.

When I was a pupil of the second form parents moved again to the neighbouring area. In the 6-th form, when the need of grandparent’s supervision has gone away, I began living with parents all the time and passed to the school ¹15 (since 2004 it is known as Donetsk gymnasium ¹15). I finished that school in 2005 with honours.

At school I used to participate in competitions in a wide range of subjects and quite often received awards. I did not go in for sports during school time. But it didn’t prevent me from taking prize-winning places at school competitions on athletics. Since then I loved to run. And nowadays I like jogging in the morning along the bank of the river Kalmius in summer.

In the 10-th form I attended designing courses. But it was just my hobby. I did not plan to become the fashion designer.

Choosing of a speciality and preparing for entrance to the high school

I started thinking seriously about my future speciality at the beginning of 11th form. At school I made great progress at mathematics. At senior school it began to single me out among schoolmates. It was the reason why I chose a technical university. The final decision was affected by my sister Tatyana. At that time she was a student of magistracy of the Economic cybernetics in Donetsk National Technical University. Her stories about studying were gripping. So I decided to enter the same speciality.

Unfortunately, my sister did not manage to enter the budget form of education because of insufficient level of preparation for entrance examinations. Therefore I decided to prepare thoroughly for entrance. After family council I started to attend courses in the Entrance Preparation Center. Due to these courses I was able to pass rating tests without any difficulties. This was the way I became a student of DonNTU in April, 2005.

The courses brought a lot of excitement and fun into my life. Despite the lack of rest days and the difficult tasks, I attend classes with great pleasure. Afterwards I missed the courses even more than school. The reason for that was a remarkable atmosphere of unity and permanent holiday dominated in groups (especially in computer science’s group). The secret of this atmosphere lied in characters of teachers and the way of lecturing. Good-natured and cheerful mathematician Victor Gorkusha became my ideal of the teacher. And always critical Liliya Stetsura not only improved my knowledge in informatics from scratch, but also acquainted me with communication features of lecturers on faculty of Computer engineering and informatics. Here I got to know Jashchenko Ekaterina with whom we entered the same speciality. Kate became my closest friend on courses and during studying at university.

University

However no rates and carefree school days can be compared with cheerful student's life. Entrance to university has turned my life. New acquaintances, new interests, new hobbies … However the newest and the most unusual thing for me was attitude to students which was absolutely not the same as at school. Lecturers speak to us as to the adult and independent people. In such kind of situation you involuntarily feel yourself more senior and start to review your vision of many things.

I began to study perfectly well from the first year. Though, in many respects it was not easily. As a result I have received the honoured bachelor's degree and have entered magistracy. During the studying process I participated in multiple conferences and competitions of student's works. Prize-winning places did not avoid me on those fields too. Also I took part in student's strategic management championship “Global Management Challenge Junior”. But despite the fact that study didn’t leave a lot of spare time I did not forget about hobbies.

On the second year of studying I began to attend the belly dance classes. Since then I have learnt many compositions and acted at concerts which were made by our dancing school. At this school I have proved myself as an actress. I took part in performances which were organized by our amicable collective on holidays. On a third year of studying I began to study English in more sophisticated manner, by visiting language classes. And on the fifth year I have started studying Polish at the Polish technical faculty (PWT) in DonNTU. It actually became my main hobby because I began to spend a lot of time on PWT.

My love to sport has not left me too. For the last five years I tried a lot of active kinds of sport. Now my interests are roller blades, skates, table tennis and alpine skis. Also I would like to try sports tourism. It will be great to take part in backpack across Crimean Mountains or in rafting down the rivers of Ukraine. But these are plans for the future …

Plans for the future

My nearest plans for the future are quite clear: to graduate from university, to begin professional career, to start the family and to make my own home comfortable. I would like to find the work closely connected with analytical kind of activity in a large company (possibly in the international corporation). Also it would be interesting for me to attend a professional trading. This kind of activity is closely related to a theme of my masters’ work.

And also I would like to carry out my children's dream – to travel around the world. I wish to see different countries and picturesque places of the Earth. My dream is to visit Sydney, a city on the other side of the world. I wish to see the well-known building of an opera and Harbor Bridge. But first of all I would like to visit Poland. This desire is formed in my mind after I had learnt more about this country at the Polish faculty.

But the main thing in my life is a family. The care and support of close people is very important for me. Therefore the goal of my life is to become a good wife and mother. I think I need too much to learn to make this true, but no difficulties frighten me.

I hope that everything will follow as I’ve planned. The main thing I believe in possibility of our strong wishes. If I want something very much it undoubtedly comes true.
