Abstract on the theme of graduation work

Actuality of the theme

Onrush of scientific and technical progress that take place in the world market, has own special influence on essence of all economic processes on the enterprise. Transition the Ukrainian economy to market conditions of functioning accompany with rising scientific-technical and technological weakness to the Largest Economies, but native economical complex has sufficient scientific and technical potential for development[16]. One of the main disadvantages in the development of innovative sphere of the firm consists in absence of effective management procedure to these processes, that can measure up national specifics and provide effective development of innovative potential of the firm. Effective functioning management system of innovative activity is necessary not only for new agents of economic activity, but at first, for agents already functioning.

Importance of innovation development for present-day Ukrainian economy is difficult to overestimate. The economic growth in the nearest perspective should be achieved just though innovations. Perception of innovation development as essencial compose of economical growth finds its representation in the fundamental reserchings of foreign scientificants: R.Akoff, P.Druker, F.Porter, B.Santiago, B.Tvissa.

The Ukrainian school of strategic management of innovations is actively progressing too. The main representatives are economists-theoretics and skilled worker: A.V.Grinov, B.M.Danilishin, V.Y.Zaryba, U.B.Ivanov, S.M.Illyashenko, E.V.Krikavskiy, B.I.Landik, P.A.Orlov, P.G.Pererva, A.A.Sadekov, A.I.Yakovlev, etc.

Goal and objectives of graduation work

The goal of research is to develop a system of strategic management of innovative activity on the enterprise. The following tasks have been formulated in according to the goal:

- to analyze an innovation activity in Ukrainian companies;

- to develop a balanced scorecard to improve the efficiency of innovation activity of companies;

- to develop guidelines and strategic management of innovative activity ot the enterprise;

- to develop a methodology to assess the effectiveness of innovation activity of the company;

- to explore and evaluate the process of implementing the strategic management of innovation activity on the enterprise.

The object and subject of research

The object of research in the Master's work is the innovation activity of industrial enterprises. The subject is processes of strategic management of innovation activity on the enterprises.

Research methods

Theoretical base of graduate task is objective laws and fundamental regulations of economic theory, theory of innovation and strategic management, scientific works of native and foreign scientists.

The following scientific methods were used in the graduate work: analysis and synthesis for differentiation and generalization composition of factors of innovative economic development of the firm; classification for learning economic nature different types of innovations and and defenition of peculiarities of management methods and planning of innovative activity; statistic analysis for evaluating of effectiveness of innovation and investment activity of the firm; expert evaluation method - for investigation of structure and nature of factors, which form innovative potential of the firm; graphical visualisation of cnclusions.

Short summary of the work

Essense and status of the problem, that decided are described in the introduction. Also, the actuality of the theme is provided, the goal, objectives and scientific recency of research are defined, the practical use of obtain results are determinated.

The theoretical and methodical foundations of strategic management are describes in the first chapter of this work. The necessity of using innovation strategy as the base of permanent development of the company is proved.

Much attention is devoted to innovation processes. The scheme of innovation process is described totally and separate its components (Figure 1).

			  <P>Development of innovation processes is determined by total status Ukrainian economy nowadays, that undergo a deep system crises in the last years. Socially oriented market economy radically
			  change the economic structure of society, and so the priorities  of strategic management of the country. Implementing of new innovations in the management system of production activity of the firm in modern
			  economy demand creation of new theoretical base by means of advancing business-processes and active innovative development. 
			  </P>
			  <P>The main content of modern strategic management is what for strategic decision making the enterprise due to take into account the market conjucture, nearby internal factors of development, so, not 
			  only simulate  own behaviour in current conditions of external environment, but to comprise management of internal processes fully [16]. It should be basedon such doctrine as difference from classical foundations of management;
			  concetration of attention on problems of flexibility and adaptiveness  to permanent changes of external environment; using of system methods; application of contingency approach;orientation on new conditions 
			  and components  of strategic development; practical using  of new principles of management, etc. At that rate, one of tools of strategic problem solving, that aimed on stable development of the firm, can be 
			  creation and realization of own innovative strategy.</P>
			  <P>Status ans tendentions of development of innovative activity of native enterprises, mechanism of realization of its strategy is analized in the second chapter of Masters' work. Methods of 
			  evaluating of effectiveness of innovative activity of the firm, defenition of entry list of innovative process on the enterprise and relations between them, methods of desicion making in the 
			branches of strategic management of innovative activity of the enterprise are described.</P>
			<P>Methodological approaches to formation of innovative strategy in the company na its management: methodics of defenition priority goals of innovative activity of the firm, methodological recommendations
			on strategic management of innovative activity of the company are created in the third chapter. </P>
					  
		  <H3>Conclusion</H3>
		  <P>In this work on the base of  undertooking study suggested perspective resolution of  scientific tasks, concerning to improvement of strategic management of innovative activity of the firm. Contents of main conclusions
		     and recommendations are confined to: </P>
			 <P> 1. Defenitions that connected to planning development of innovation activity, notably

2.Evaluation of modern situation in strategic management, show that most enterprises not devote special attention to own innovation strategies. Functioning mechanism of innovation management was improved for determination of single questions in the structure of strategic management with the help of creation the mechanism of it's realization, establish a dynamic correspondens between innovation and others branches of enterprise' activity and allow them to improve the hierarchic status of innovation mangement.

It is proved that during determination of the task of effectiveness of total strategy is necessary take into account level of innovativeness of the firm. Based on correspondens of its perspective development to current innovation potential and take into account specifics of created model, that determined by status and factors of development of external environment, oriented on the status ofthe firm in ambient environment.
