Biography

Childhood

I was born on June 19, 1989 in the USSR, the same day as the great scientist Blaise Pascal, whose name is one of the first programming languages. Of course, I can`t tell about my life at that time, because I was too small. Since the early childhood up to nowadays I’ve been encircled by the precious people – my parents. My dad, Nikulenko Dmitry Enovich, is an example of the most intelligent, well-read, educated person in my life: he graduated from my university and my faculty. He knows everything about computers and programming. His example of excellent education and self-education was one of the reasons urged my entry to the Donetsk National Technical University. My mother Nikulenko Natalia is a therapist, a sincere and wise woman. She is my good friend and adviser.

Despite the short pre-school childhood, I started 2 kindergartens. That was hard but the right decision as I made new friends there.

All my childhood I was interested in drawing. I attended various art groups since I was 4 and at the age of 6 years I enrolled into a folk art circle called "Country of fantazy" in Donetsk Pioneers Palace. My teacher was Romanova Galina Vitalievna. It was my second home for many years next years.

School

September the 1st of 1996 was a long-expected day. It was the day I went to the first grade at Donetsk school ¹ 1. I was very diligent and hardworking, I did all my homework and never played truant. As a result I always had good marks. My school years were full of various circles and sections – different types of drawing, swimming, studying English. I also took part in the actor’s club for some time.

So the only time I could relax was holidays, the more welcome they were. I loved to spend summer in the children's camps, where I made new friends and where were no classes. So the only time I could relax was holidays, the more welcome they were. I loved to spend summertime at the children's camps, where I made new friends and where there were no classes. However it was a big pleasure for me to be back home in the autumn, start a new school year, meet classmates and teachers that that I was already missing.

University

The choice of university is an important moment of my life so I was full of responsibility. My attention was immediately attracted by the Donetsk National Technical University as it has excellent reputation and it is one of the top ten Ukrainian universities. There was a large number of interesting faculties in the Donetsk National Technical University and I applied for Computer Science and Technology, and the major was Computer Ecological Economic monitoring – new and perspective direction of scientific development.

Graduating I can say that all the years were relatively complicated. Being a freshman it was hard to get used to the new system of university studying and to the new estimation model that includes modules, double periods and so on and so forth. Although later when you became a part of this system everything becomes much easier. I love to learn and to know something new. When I was a fourth year student I choose a topic for my research work and a scientific adviser. I was very lucky that my scientific adviser was Natalia Gubenko. My topic was "Development of the model estimating losses associated with the implementation of the threats and vulnerabilities of information systems".

Professional and creative plans for the nearest future

Being an undergraduate my task of prime importance is to graduate and get master`s degree. And as long as I`m full of energy and desire to acquire new knowledge and skills, I want to lay a foundation for my future success.

First of all I want to start a career in a well-known International company where I will be able to employ the benefits from my laborious education. That will make me able to provide my children with happy childhood, alike to the one my parents gave me.
