| I was born on January 4, 1982 in Dnepropetrovsk, one of the most beautiful cities of Ukraine. I am grateful for this to my parents Nikolay and Lyudmila Belomerya. In 1984 I moved to Donetsk, but I still heartily think of Dnepropetrovsk as of my homeland. Its museums and parks, the imposing view of Dnipro-river, aqua-park in Monastyrskiy island and funicular across Dnipro are really worth the greatest admiration. Donetsk of today looks beautiful too, only it's a pity it is not called "city of roses" anymore, but anyway it impresses with new buildings and stadiums. In my childhood I was a sociable, quite cheerful and lively child. One of my best child's memories is kindergarten. I met there my future schoolmates. I always tried to reach the maximum mutual understanding with people around me (searching for the "golden mean"). I always took an active part in games and at the same time tried to become one of those who were establishing the rules of the game. This had probably predetermined my future choice of profession. But I shall tell about it later. The next stage in the life of every person is school. The personal basic views and judgments are formed there. I went to school no.90 of Kirovskiy district. In school I was very active. I took part in school competitions in chemistry and physics, in city competition in laws and was among ten winners. In the upper school, I followed a special course of economics and ethics of business communications. That's why my interest in economy and economic problems has grown in my school days already. I always treaded all my teachers with respect, and they did respect me too. My hobby in the free time was modeling, something that gave me a good training in concentrating and achieving my goals. Finally the time had come to step into the adult life and choose a way to follow for myself. So, it was time to choose a high school and profession, i.e. in fact a direction of my future life. There were many options for this choice, however my parents' advice had quite a big influence on me, moreover that I had myself a strong believe that Donetsk Polytechnic Institute was one of the best high schools in Ukraine. After an interview, I was taken in the department of economics and management for the specialty of business management. During the years of my study, my opinion on the university got only positive updates. I met here many interesting and remarkable people. Professors always showed an extremely high professionalism. My schoolmates became my best friends, and we formed a really united team. During five years of study, I grew into a mature and really independent person. In course of my study, I didn't have much time for hobbies, however I received a 3rd level certificate in French language. My another achievement is my bachelor's degree with honour and my entry to the master's course, which I believe will contribute to my success in the future. The main objective of master's course is preparation for research and practical activities, as well as master's thesis. The subject of my thesis is related to the innovation and investment activities of a separate enterprise. It may be quite interesting, since our economy has not yet reached a sustainable level of development, and such development depends on correct investment and innovation policies. That is why I chose as subject for my thesis Management of Investment Activities By the Example of Joint-Stock Company NORD. My adviser for this thesis is candidate of economic sciences, senior lecturer Sumin Valentin Aleksandrovich. The subject of my choice is not among the special issues of my department, but it corresponds to the general direction of works of the department, which are researches of efficient solutions for investment planning. This subject has already been raised several times by such experts as deputy chief of department Kravchenko S.I., and doctor of economic sciences Hobta V.M. In the nearest future I will graduate from Donetsk National Technical University, hopefully with honour, and hope to find a job in compliance with my profession, or continue my study as post-graduate student. And my future plans are a candidate's degree and close cooperation with professors of my high school. |
