My beginning as a legally recognized individual occurred on December 14, 1982. I was born in a small room of a ordinary house on Kachalov Street, Makeevka. I do not remember anything about that, but my parents, who were there, informed me of this and I believe it.

My father, for whom I was named, is an engineer. My mother, originally Lashun Tatjana Ivanovna, was herself also born in Makeevka. She had studied at Donetsk Politechnical University and became a teacher of chemistry. A brother, Alex, was born about nine and a half years before than me on August 9, 1972.

School started at age six but I also went to a kindergarten before starting in the elementary school level. I was a reluctant scholar and was able to think of many other things to do with my time. I tried very hard to be a good pupil, but found it hard to concentrate on simple things like the alphabet, because I was already able to read books quite well. My mother said later, she encouraged me to read because it was the only thing that would keep me quiet!

I started at the other school, (close to the Center) at about sixteen years old, (I think). It was quite difficult for me to get used to the new atmosphere. I quickly made friends and began to enjoy school. The first thing I learned there was to share cigarettes in the adjoining field, hidden by the boys' toilets. I am so happy that I found this pastime too expensive for me, and have never smoked since.

Since graduating scholl I entered Donetsk state technical university and quickly found myself in the middle of a group of friends, most of whom pretty much ran the extracurricular life. I had very good time then.

My nearest plans for future are to graduate from university with the masters degree and to get interesting job.
