Introduction. The New metallurgical processes allowing more economical use energy and raw materials facility, raising quality of metal production, enable to convert traditional metallurgy. The Growing of the share of the expenseses on protection of environment at construction new enterprise, development pneumatic transport and hydrotransport with reference to to delivery ore material consumer predestine the accomodation new metallurgical enterprise. This will allow to build the nonpolluting direct reduction iron plants in populous region. Removal such complex and heavy production, as coke and domain, will not only bring about reduction of the labor expenseses at reception by steels, but also will allow to obtain very high degree of her purity. The Simplification of the metallurgical cycle and, in particular, technologies production become позоволит automate the process, perfect the condition of the labour.

Urgency of the work Need of the scolded improvement quality and increase type metal production is obvious. Herewith for Ukraine all more actual becomes the problem of the reduction of the import cheese, in the first place power systems-oils and natural gas.

The Great role in decision of the named problems can and must play the processes of the direct reduction iron. The Main in these process is a refusal of receptions of cast pigiron as intermediate product in technological chain ore-steel. On the first stage usually get beforehand recalled material in the manner of metallized pellets or briquette, on the second stage these intermediate material are used as charge in steel-melting unit.

In recently all greater importance as carriers to natural energy gain coal and brown coal, in connection with than importance of the processes production sponge iron, based on solid fuels, will certainly increase. The Special role such processes have for Ukraine with her great spare of the solid fuel and nearly full absence to oils and gas.
