Personal qualities
My main intention is self-perfection. I don't have any pernicious habits. I suppose, that in interviewing applicants for the post in corporation, attention should be paid for personal qualities rather, than for knowledge. The most important thing for person is to be honest, industrious, dependable, communicative, with serious attitude to one's job. Only trusting and hoping you can charge your employee with an important area of responsibility.
Biography
Me, Khvischuk Maxim Baler'evich, was born on December 26, 1985, in the city of Donetsk.
Childhood
This fragment of the life appeared to be extremely interesting, though I cannot remember it completely. When I was a little kid, my father taught me to read or, to put it more precisely, to pronounce sounds, using the bear and fir tree pictures. It was hard for me to believe in any progress in my attempts. But finally I coped with this problem, and by the preschool age I had sufficient reading skills.
Besides, I recall my grandmother's lessons. When she was cooking something or was doing some other work about the house, we played «multiplication table». She chose two numbers and I multiplied them. As a result, I knew all the table perfectly and, moreover, could count to one hundred.
Then the time for me to attend kindergarten came: I went there without clear recognition of my presence at that place having any purpose. Activities at the kindergarten were not interesting at all. Therefore, my grandmother took me home and was spending time with me. I was reading adventure books, played with my toys, went skiing in winter.
When I was six, it was decided to send me to school. But, having come there, I immediately fell asleep at my desk. Everybody saw it evident, that I was not fit for school and am unable to fulfill the studies program.
The School
I went to school again, being seven year-old. The school number 51 was regarded to have very good teaching staff; and learning there very more interesting then anywhere before, soon I became a hard-working pupil and receive excellent marks during my first year. The behaviour was also perfect, so teachers loved me much. The second and third years were spent in the same way, and I had received the letter of commendation, when my primary school studies were over. I am still grateful to my teacher for so much attention and care, received from her. But there was something wrong with my situation. I hardly ever went for a walk and, staying at home, looked through the window at the boys in the yard. They seemed to be inventing something, that filled me with curiosity.
The next period (from 5th to 9 th form) was more complicated. I studied well enough, but sometimes got fours. Suddenly I was offered to attend the contest on Ukrainian language, that I liked. I was fifth at that contest, and was satisfied with it. Later I also attended chemistry contests, mathematics study group. There we solved amusing logic problems with my favourite teacher. And, that is more interesting, we are still on good terms with him.
College
Later I decided to enter Donetsk Technical College and started with preparatory courses. My personality changed a lot at that time: there were new hobbies, new interests. I would call the college «mini-university», for it had the same discipline, the same periods and serious training. There I started to study computer science, but, as I missed significant part of the course, my marks were bad. Then I tried to look into the subject, asking my father's best friend for some help. I am very thankful for him.
Eventually I appeared at the top of my group, as for the computer science. At the college I lernt to play bridge, that I think an interesting developing game. By the rating test results I was accepted as a student of Donetsk National Technical University on budget place. I chose the faculty of Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
The University
At the university my new life started, though I could not feel it being the first-year student. I liked subjects, required creative works presentation before the audience, at the conference. A lot of new activities appeared. I was lucky to study in such group, as mine. The team is what matters, even more, than tuition itself. And, frankly speaking, I did not like all the subjects.
I heard the group mates opinion, that humanities are not important for our occupation. They paid little attention to them. But I disagreed. I still suppose, it is necessary to view the problem from various points to solve it. The university was the school of life for me. I was taught to perform research work, to find the data needed, not to fear of troubles, to strive for my aims in life.
Years from second to fourth gave basic knowledge, and after the fourth year activities and studies were more creative. Master's work defence required self-training, quick wit and, certainly, professional skills. I do not regret, that chose this university and this occupation; because of this I have become more self-confident.
My future plans
The nearest future (5 years later): to apply my knowledge and skills, to gain a lot of experience, to become a real professional in my sphere of science.
Distant future (more than 5 years later): to run the real business and to be fit for this. I enjoy to see my skills useful.
