Education
School Years
My name is Alexander Dmitrievich Tsitsora, and I was born on May 21, 2002, in the city of Makeyevka. I grew up in an ordinary family that always supported me in my endeavors while giving me the freedom to choose my own path. When it was time to go to school, I was enrolled in Lyceum No. 1 "Leader." From the beginning, I enjoyed studying, but I never aimed to excel in everything or participate in major academic conferences or large-scale competitions. Nevertheless, my school years taught me diligence, the ability to meet deadlines, and how to interact with classmates and teachers.
At the lyceum, I maintained average academic performance: I excelled in some subjects, particularly mathematics, as I enjoyed the logic of equations and problems. My results in other disciplines, such as literature and history, were more modest, but I always tried to maintain a stable level to keep up with the program. I didn't achieve anything outstanding, but I didn't see this as critical—I simply wanted to figure out which direction to pursue without overloading myself with unnecessary stress. My thoughtful and calm approach to studies became my defining traits, and school taught me responsibility and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
University (Bachelor's Degree)
After finishing school, I enrolled at Donetsk National Technical University to pursue a bachelor's degree. This decision was largely driven by my interest in technical sciences and the promising opportunities in the IT field. I never considered myself a programming genius or someone who would spend entire days coding, but I quickly acquired basic skills in C and C++. In the early years, everything went relatively smoothly, although I had to put in considerable effort to understand new subjects and complete complex laboratory work.
As a university student, I enjoyed the independence of adult life: I had more freedom, but also more responsibility. Sometimes, it was challenging to balance studies, socializing with friends, and simply wanting to relax. My grade average consistently remained around "4," which I consider a decent result, given that I sometimes had to cram for tests and exams at the last moment. I didn’t rush to participate in academic conferences or competitions; instead, I focused on passing my exams and acquiring essential skills that I hoped would be useful in my career.
During my bachelor's program, I became proficient in Windows operating systems and gained initial experience with various software tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, MathCad, Proteus, and Multisim. These experiences gave me insight into solving engineering problems and how I could apply these skills in practice after graduation. My interest in programming gradually grew, but I remained more of an average student trying to keep up with all subjects rather than a passionate developer.
Master's Degree
In 2023, after earning my bachelor's degree, I decided to continue my education with a master's program at Donetsk National Technical University. Currently, I am in my first year and plan to complete my studies by 2025. The program has become more challenging, with many specialized subjects requiring a deeper understanding of theory and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice. There are times when it is difficult to balance all disciplines, especially when deadlines for multiple projects overlap. However, I try to stay persistent and work on assignments steadily throughout the semester to avoid last-minute rushes.
In my master's program, I have not yet participated in significant research or major conferences, as I prefer to focus on mastering the curriculum and gaining practical skills. At this stage, I believe it is essential to move forward steadily, learn to work with literature and sources, and later consider how to apply this knowledge in the scientific field or specific projects. Of course, the master's program demands more responsibility, but I appreciate that it allows me to approach problems more broadly and explore various solutions from an engineering perspective.
My Goals and Future Plans
When I think about the future, I envision a job that allows me to utilize my technical and analytical skills. I would like to find a stable position in the IT field or a related area involving engineering problem-solving and data analysis. I understand that continuous self-education and development are crucial in today's world, so I plan to dedicate time to reading specialized literature, watching educational courses, and practicing programming skills.
At the same time, I aim to improve my English language skills, as it opens up broader employment opportunities and participation in exciting international projects. Gradually, I want to build a set of competencies that are in demand in the job market and give me confidence in the future.
Overall, I see myself as a typical graduate who learns from mistakes, doesn't chase the title of the best, but strives to do quality work on time. I believe the key is to keep moving toward the goal step by step. The master's program should serve as a good springboard: after graduation, I plan to finalize my specialization and apply my knowledge and skills in practice. In the long term, I aspire to become a sought-after IT specialist, ready to take on ambitious projects and continue developing.
