  Childhood

April, 1982 was rather warm, a real spring. Nature was waking up to begin a new life, and together with it, woke up I. I began the first day in the morning of 13th. As I was told later, mum gave me birth in Donetsk, in the then-USSR.
My father, Krivoruchko Vladimir Nikolaevich, has been working in A.A.Galkin Donetsk Physics and Technical Institute.
My mother, Subotina Tatyana Jakovlevna, worked then in the Regional Executive Committee as an economist.
The first years of my life I remembered badly. I remember precisely that the last was kindergarten I went to was near high school №2.

  School days

Secondary education began at high school №2. The reason for the choice of the school was simple: the profound studying of English from the first grade (actually, I began to learn elements of English already in the kindergarten). My father insisted on such a decision, and he was not mistaken. I got good and excellent marks. To tell the truth, the exact sciences I liked more, and the language went with difficulty. But it was necessary to learn it. So things went up to 9 grade.
In the eighth grade mum found out about Donetsk Technical College (for which I am very grateful to her). Intense training for the entrance exams began. The year was not spent in vain, and I was accepted, into a special group with intensive studying of mathematics. Three years which were spent in the college were magnificent! We had a very friendly group, and excellent teachers. Many thanks to Potemkina Larissa (mathematics teacher), she really taught us to think.

  Hobbies

While studying at school, to be exact, approximately from 6 years, I went in for in ball-room dancing. Now it is referred to as sports ball-room dancing, which reflects the necessity of good sports training. I participated, but not very often, in competitions, basically in Donetsk region. I wasn't among the leaders, but it was not the purpose, it was just pleasant to dance.
While I was preparing to enter Donetsk Technical College, I had to stop dancing due to absence of free time. After enrollment, I resumed training, but, unfortunately, not for a long time, two years and … that was all. The reason for me is not clear, somehow it just didn't work out. And it is a pity.

  Why DonNTU?

Actually, there were two variants: Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU) and Donetsk National University (DonNU). I wanted to do something connected with computers and exact sciences. DonNU offered applied mathematics, and at DonNTU the choice was wider, and it was necessary to choose.
I chose to major in "Telecommunication systems and networks". The subject was new, ours was only the third class, and the competition was 6 persons for a place. Intense training to entering both universities simultaneously began! The result of ratings in DonNTU played a decisive role - I was accepted, on the condition of concluding a special contract. I decided to stop at this point.

  Studying

Studying in the university turned out to be interesting and intense. A considerable role in it was played by a very strong group in which I studied. After the first year I entered the German Technical Faculty and along with the basic subjects I began an intensive study of the German language.

  Choice of a research theme

As a supervisor of my scientific research I chose Voropayeva Victoria Jakovlevna, assistant professor of Faculty of Automatics and Telecommunications. The choice was made in the third year when all teachers of the Faculty were already familiar. The theme of the future master's research was defined at the end of the fourth year. We decided to continue development of the theme of distant education, started by the student of the previous year Ponomarenko A.G. Further the theme was defined as "Development of a hardware-software complex for a distant education system of a university".

  Personal prospects

Concerning my activities after the University, I can only say that is a question still undecided for me. While studying, I have been taking part in development of software for integrated management of enterprise - the SVOD, which is done by firma "ComPASS". This work is interesting for me, so the final decision is not yet made.
