Autobiography

I was born on July, 2, 1984 in Donetsk and caused joy to my parents, at that time still students in their fourth year at our native university. The young parents continued to study successfully and gave me to the grandparents, because it was not so easy to combine study at our university and something else, especially upbringing of the little child

I want to express my special gratitude to them. That pleasurable time was not stamped on my memory, but according to my grandmother I did not allow them to have a tedious time. At that time my grandmother worked at school as a teacher of Russian language and literature, and my grandfather was the chief of a transport department at a coal mine. My educators were on duty in turns. So passed the first year of my life.

On graduating from the institute parents appeared in Makeevka where they have received an apartment after assignment. Here on December, 30, 1986 they made me a New Year present in the form of my younger brother Alexey Like most of children I went to a kindergarten where after a small time interval my brother got too. From that stage of my life my memory keeps a taste of compote from dried fruits, hated silent hour and at the same time huge quantity of morning performances and rest-hours with all attributes of the carefree childhood.

In 1990 I went to the first class of school ¹43 of Makeevka. My study began from six-year age and wasn't too different from the kindergarten because a special program of training with rest, lessons and games was used. I mastered the alphabet with my grandmother at the age of three and could already read rather tolerably that's why the Abc-book didn't become the most difficult book for me.

At this school I studied for one more year and then we moved. In 1992 I went to the 3-rd class of school ¹18 in which I studied till the 11-th class. At school I tried to learn everything and didn't concentrate my attention on any specific subject. I took part in numerous competitions. I can boast of prize-winning places in those competitions in the English language and mathematics.

As for my hobbies I was engaged in much. Drawing was always interesting for me. As a little baby I made drawings on wall-paper and books, that made my grandmother unspeakably pleased. Pillowcases were a favorite place of drawing. But my talent of a great artist remained unrevealed, because there was no art school in the neighbourhood, and my parents could not carry me somewhere due to their work. Nevertheless, I was not distressed very much, because it wasn't so difficult for me to find occupations. In the 5-th class, I know not how, my girlfriends and I found ourselves in a singing group. It did not look like a chorus, and nobody there had music education. But, despite this, on holidays when the people longs eagerly for circuses, we were dressed out in festive frocks and carried to various palaces of culture and stadiums to demonstrate the cultural work among the masses. Thank God, it didn't last long, and almost in one year our vocal group ceased to exist. But at the same time a dancing ensemble with a little bit changed structure appeared. We liked very much to engage and perform on stage. And why not? Attention of audience, bright costumes, meeting friends and receiving gifts after performances were pleasant to us. So we danced folk dances, then modern ones. When I was in the 7-th class I got into competitions in sport dances for the first time and thought: «Now? That's it!». I enrolled in a dance group and after that only school and dances were important for me.

But study in the 9-th class made me to think more seriously about the future and to make every effort for realization of my plans. As I perceived dances only as hobby, but not as a profession, it was necessary to think of what I would like to devote myself to and what should be preferred. My choice fell up on the English language and, since the second term of the 9-th class, I began to learn intensely. I thought of entering Gorlovka Institute of Foreign Languages, but my parents were against letting me go to some other city, and I wasn't eager to leave my relatives, parents, friends. Therefore some raids on the main building of Donetsk National University were made with the purpose of receiving as much information about the department of Romance and Germanic languages as possible.

But already in the 11-th class I was so mush fed up with, that I was ready to enter anywhere, if only I could study as little of it as possible. Probably, I had it to excess:). So my choice fell upon the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics of Donetsk National Technical University. In principle, this choice was not accidental. I don't know why this variant didn't enter my head before. Firstly, my parents are alumni of this educational institution, and I spent the first days of my life within its precincts, and, secondly, my mum studied at the same faculty, but with a speciality of " Applied mathematics " (in the present " Software Engineering " ). Because I realized, that I want to throw in my lot with computers quite late, and at the moment of leaving school my knowledge of computer science left a lot to be desired, I didn't dare to follow in my mother's footsteps and to enter the speciality " Software Engineering " . So I began to learn mathematics intensely, and having a school gold medal, I successfully entered the speciality of " Computer systems and networks " after an interview.

In my first year I had a bad time of it because the majority of students had a clear idea of programming, and the lector didn't begin at the beginning. But thanks to the careful analysis of my tests and visiting numerous consultations (thanks, Victor Ivanovich) I became more confident in myself by the end of the first year.

Since the second year I began to taste all advantages of student life. These were fascinating lectures and not less exciting practical trainings, as well as the remembered student's parties.

So gradually I reached the state examinations and the bachelor's degree with honours. For all four years of studies at the university all conferences, competitions and other activities, giving an opportunity to display scientific aspirations, have successfully passed me by. My reputation was sullied only by the participation in competition on the Ukrainian language. As a result of it, the award for the fairly won third place appeared in my home archive. I can't say that I intended to enter master's course beforehand? But why not use the opportunity.

The theme of my master's work has been recommended to me by my scientific supervisor for subsequent introduction in educational process. I shall try, that as a result of writing this work an interesting system appears, which is really capable to help our students to penetrate into all detailes of an course.

In the future I would like to receive the master's degree and to find the job which would first of all bring pleasure. I am not certain yet about the direction of my future activity though…No, still not sure.

And in general I'd like to be just a happy person and to enjoy life and I wish the same to you.
