About Myself (in brief): |
|||||
An average mark during the study at the University is 4.7. Perfect command of Russian, English and Ukrainian. In programming I am most attracted by complex processes modeling possibility, permanent necessity to apply to abstract thinking and realization of my ideas in practice. Aside with programming I am fond of sports (tennis and football in particular), reading literature of various thematic (historical mainly) and Geography.
In 1992 I started to go to school ¹118 in Budyenovskiy district. While studying in the 1st form I liked reading - and in the following years this interest constantly increased. Because of the removal I started to go the 2nd form of the school ¹47 (Kievskiy district). A plenty of memories are connected with this very school – even now I recollect numerous episodes out of my school life with pleasure. At the elementary school I easily coped with studying. Mathematics and Literature were my favorite subjects. Particular interest in these rather opposite to each other spheres made a basis for my future personal development, which I consider to be multifaceted.
In the 5th form I started to go in for sports actively. In school I played mainly basketball – thanks to our Physical Training teacher, Glebov Igor Mikhailovich, who did his best in order we could play both basketball and football even at extracurricular time. In the 6th form to my keenness on football and basketball I added tennis and table tennis. I began to go in for table tennis due to this section had been opened in our school - in this kind of sports I was always attracted by the necessity to think and make decisions in a quick way. I went in for ping-pong up to the 8th form and during this period I won a lot of prizes at the competitions of different levels and achieved the first junior’s rank.
In high school I often took part in competitions in Mathematics, Informatics, Physics, Russian and English. I extremely liked the lessons on Literature guided by a superb teacher – Savchenko Elena Stepanovna. I liked the way she could transmit the atmosphere of this or that book discussed to the class, and perform that in such manner that every listener could be penetrated with feelings, emotions of an author or a hero of a book.
When the question about the choice of Higher Educational Establishment arose, I had no doubts at all and in the 10th form I started to visit access course in Math and Informatics in Donetsk National Technical University. My purpose was to enter the University on the basis of the results of test.
My knowledge level in Math and Informatics at the beginning of the 10th form was evidently insufficient to enter the University, that is why the majority of my spare time I devoted to improve my knowledge in these spheres. I’d like to give special thanks to my teachers at the preparatory courses at the University. Terechov Sergey Vladimirovich taught me Math, the lessons based on his methods let me elaborate certain discipline in solving Math problems. His methodology was aimed at the development of permanent thinking and analysis but not at the circularity at standard, trite methods of solving problems.
I finished secondary school in 2002 with honors, being awarded with a golden medal. A party devoted to our graduation and its family atmosphere are still being memorized by me. Even now my ex-classmates and me meet twice or trice a year to spend some time together, visit our class guide and simply recollect all those good things that connect us – already adults and in many respects different people.
As for my profession choice, during school years I was already attracted by information technologies and abilities to create program systems of my own. That is why the choice of speciality "The Automated System's Software" was easy for me and afterwards I have never been pity about it.
I guess the main task of the University is first of all the upbringing of the desire and capability to study, perceive and adopt new knowledge at certain pace, and afterwards it is personal work, self-education, permanent desire of a student to develop. It is of particular importance for programmers because program systems technologies change rapidly, and in order to keep pace with all these changes it is a constant need to study, be interested in and go deeply into new methods and approaches. At the University I liked lectures in higher Mathematics by A. E. Skvortcov because of his manner to deliver each lecture in energetic and emotional way. Besides I’d like to mention subjects courses by Y. V. Ladijenskiy, O. I. Fedjayev, A. I. Andruchin and many other talented . Being in my 3rd year at the University I started to go in for tennis actively. I am to thank my Dad for my keenness on this kind of sports because following his advice I began playing tennis in my school years, so now I spend time on a court with pleasure. In tennis I especially like permanent necessity to combine thinking and physical efforts.
I used to set myself the most exalted aims because it is so pleasant to achieve them, so there was no doubt whether to enter the masters’ course or not. I had quite a high average mark during my studies at Bachelor course, this allowed me to enter the masters’ course without problems and study free of charge. My key interest during the study at the University was object-oriented analysis, design of big program systems and also parallel programming. My interest in object-oriented design and parallel programming patterns became decisive for the scientific part of my master's dissertation choice. The scientific part of my master's dissertation is aimed at creating and efficiency analysis of the high-level model of parallel programming in object-oriented languages (Spring PPI project) and also study of practical application\using of object-oriented and parallel programming patterns. As a supervisor I chose Andruchin Alexandr Ivanovich because I liked his abstract thinking capability and creative and scientific attitude towards education process.
In the near future I am planning to complete my master's dissertation. In more distant plans is work by profession – I’d like to work on creating corporate systems - and constant raising of my skills level as well.
